So many people think that King Baldwin IV of Jerusalem actually defeated Saladin in battle at least once, and so believe that he could “actually beat Saladin”. If the question is asking whether KIng Baldwin IV could have invaded Egypt and conquered it from Saladin, that would have been harder to do than keeping Saladin from conquering Jerusalem.

Despite his illness, King Baldwin defeated Saladin, who was healthy and in his 40s at the age of 16, multiple times. Baldwin's army was also severely outnumbered. Anyway, his anguish was unbearable, and he had no joy, pleasure, or a normal life. . Baldwin's dreadful disease destroyed his body, exhausted him, and eventually killed him at the age of 24. Moreover, Saladin could only defeat the Crusaders after his death. You can't help but love and honor this King.

They don't differ much? We worship Christ, the living God. Muslims are lowering our God to the rank of a prophet, even though Jesus wasn't even a prophet, his mission was different. That's like us saying to Muslims Allah is just a prophet and claiming we respect their beliefs. Believe in whatever you want, but you don't go to Christians telling them Jesus is just a prophet. We will never say he is a prophet because he makes blasphemous claims about himself in the New Testament that only God Himself can make. And then he is resurrected from the dead after dying for the sins of the world. This was all predicted in the old testament. Jesus was the eternal lamb (The lamb you guys slaughter each year during Eid Al-Adha is Jesus Christ for us, this is why we don't sacrifice each year because God already died and resurrected on our behalf)

Some scene was deleted still its about 3hours which felt like an hour. Wish the movie was made on baldwin iv 😫 Both Salahuddin and baldwin iv was Great.They cared for his people so they didn't actually wanted war but it was not going well between the two groups they had no choice and about baldwin iv is that at this young age no man in this universe could defeat Salahuddin he was a different beast More experience, older ,wiser...so the question is how did baldwin iv did it are you guys even curious?.People could hv Died in more number if the battle was not between this two wise leader Salahuddin and baldwin was a good human but all those war and bloodshed was on a purpose and they had no other choice since they were also human if you asked me which one is stronger i would say ofc Salahuddin but how he was defeated by a 16 year old with leprosy paralyzed arm that's the thing I get motivated by baldwin iv so that's the reason I love this guy then any other leader ,king or Ruler in the history of mankind. Catholics nowadays have great respect for Salahuddin, i was told stories as a child. He was depicted as a ruler and a wise person, same with Baldwin. Respect to all of you people

He actually didnt wear a mask in real life, he didnt even show signs of his condition until he grew older, he was blind and could barely move in the fight against salahuddin

@@Cryodrakon2 He could still move around when he was 16 and even taught himself to ride a horse, but historically, he ended up blind and immobile by this point in his life. the other two times he went out onto the battlefield, he had to be carried there by his men.

This movie was honestly really good

Imagine just trying to survive lepresy then this absolute doughtnut messes up the peace in your kingdom so you have to fight off death by lepresy while fixing your kingdom again

Ed Norton is just top tier in this film.

Still to this day i wish he would have cut him down with his sword to "correct" the wrong doing
