Thank you so much for this message. I was overwhelmed with tears during the last part of this sermon, again realizing the magnificent grace of God through Jesus. Blessings to Dr Keller, Gospel in Life and all who hear this message.

Jesus Christ is the only major religious figure to ever explicitly claim Himself as God and it's a claim we must choose or reject. Many people avoid making a choice; and reject Jesus but claim he was a great teacher and perhaps a prophet. His claims are explicit and you can't consider Him to be a mere teacher. If Jesus was only a great teacher, then His instructions would be useless and He would be a idealistic revolutionary at best. The Old Testament prophecies and the Resurrection prove He is God. The claims of Jesus would be the very embodiment of blunt and offensive even though it's hard to see it this way since many in Western culture have portrayed Him as some free-spirited hippie and/or a revolutionary social justice warrior. As for myself, I believe He is God and will return one day!
