Napoleon Harris was a former LB for the Raiders, ,who went about 6"4' and 250. He owned a Pizza Place outside of Chicago and was making a delivery when 4 guys jumped him. One guy punched him in the face and Harris just looked at him. Just like Reacher. He beat the Hell out of 2 of the guys, the other 2 ran off and turns out they were wanted for murder and were all captured laters.

@@johnharris6655 Can't speak for the forehead, but I was attacked by a guy who thought I had disrespected his cousin (my girlfriend at the time and we had just broken up, long story), and he basically came at me like most idiots with no concept of fighting, just throwing punches. I just turned around and walked away. He punched me in the back of the head probably 15 times as I was walking away and the only damage was his broken wrist and 3 fingers. Moral of the story, punching people in the head is really not your best option in a fight.

I do like all the , experts picking hoke in this short clip. Its a TV show based on a book. Its for entertainment. . One of the best shows ive seen in ages. Not really bothered how accurate it is. If i want to learn about suppressors , silencers and ballistics I'll look it up... its made for entertainment only. 😅

Haha, gold. I think that the crunching sound in these scenes is overdone , but the scenes are entertaining.

It's totally wrong to say silencers make guns inaccurate. They don't negatively impact accuracy at all. Good show though

Yeah. I know this version is book accurate, but scenes like these are just more believeable with Tom Cruise being the guy. Drinking and paid still ain't getting four "scrawny" kids to pick a fight with a dude that looks like THAT!

I talked about book accuracy before I said anything else and four bad asses will challenge anybody, but four scrawny kids don't qualify as badasses. Having THESE four challenge THAT guy is MORE far fetched than having Tom Cruise play Reacher. These four guys challenging a Reacher paid by Tom Cruise would make more sense.

The rich kid who paid them also may have known they didn't actually stand a chance against Reacher, but might have hoped they would be able to spin a believable story to get Reacher arrested on assault and battery charges.

Yeah, that grass in the headlights was really tough to make out. He wasn't looking for clues, he wanted to get a proper idea of what things would have been like the night his brother was killed, hence the line about how the spot the shooter was in being darker based on the different position of the moon. He wouldn't have been able to get that idea in the daylight.

No, he leans forward into it so he takes the blow on his forehead and a forehead is way more solid than a fist (note soccer players head a ball with their forehead whereas taking it on their face would really hurt).

"Killer was a skilled marksman. The gun had a silencer on it which makes even close range work inaccurate, but he got a kill shot." . . . "He enjoyed it. A sniper shot from the tree line would've done the job with less risk." Or maybe he chose to be close because it's hard to be accurate with a silencer in the dark.

silencers don't inherently decrease accuracy. and silencers certainly don't care if it's day or night. if the shooter had trouble in the dark, that would be an issue with the sight picture, not the silencer

@@philochristos I mean reality within the series pretty much bends to cater to Reacher's will, but the poster above is correct. A sound suppressor, in and of itself, should not have the kind of drastic effect on accuracy that Reacher is describing. Ironically you're more likely to notice a drop in _practical_ accuracy from the suppressor's cylinder obscuring vision beyond the front sight post (assuming you haven't installed raised sights on the weapon in question) rather than a reduction in _mechanical_ accuracy from altered external ballistics/barrel harmonics or whatever the screenwriters were getting at. However, if you _also_ use subsonic ammunition with said suppressor it can certainly result in a significant shift to your point of impact. The show (or Reacher himself) makes a mistake by stating that the projectiles are 95-grain 9mms, which are all subsonic according to him... when in fact such a bullet weight would be fairly fast and thus supersonic by 9x19mm standards. They should have said 147-grain or heavier.
