Such an epic map. I got Malric as well on my first play of the map. It was freakin’ awesome. I did find though that he’s so big it’s easy to swing too high 🤣

When I got Malric and realized how fuckin tall he was I tried to play in 3rd person a bit….hes too fuckin big and his heads almost touching the bloody camera..can’t see shit that’s in front of you cause of his fatass head😂

Malric was talking to Argon in the final fight that they should join together & face the Tenosian threat. I hope we get another update with at least another campaign against tenosia.

​@@Swagmar Nah, only now is Malric telling Argon about this when he's cornered and has nowhere else to run. He's begging for his life, lol. If he really wanted Argon to help him against Tenosia, he should've said it sooner. Or, or, not have rebelled against Argon I in the first place

@@drewross3221 Argon I led an army against Tenosia but got decimated because they were fighting in Tenosia's home turf. Malric decided to rebel when Argon I returned home with his army. Either way, Malric rebelled and is not the rightful king

I believe it's not gonna be the last update. BUT, it might actually be a real deal about who actually wins civil war. Later on we might get more love and focus for Tenosia, maybe some maps with Vips to kill.

There is a point in their fight where malric mentions tenosia, multiple actually. Malric trashes Argon saying he'd never be able to stop the hoard. Then says he's making a mistake by fracturing their forces when tenosia is right at the gates. He even tries convincing argon to join him and fight tenosia off together. Either theyre gonna keep updating with tenosia in mind, or they're gonna make a 3rd chivalry for that. Either way, I think the devs would mention if it's the final update to the aeir8

Such a good pass, the rat helmet goes hard! but I feel like everyone is gonna start rocking it. The goldendong is pretty refreshing. Super slow but packs a crazy punch. Cant wait for some comp matches on the new map though. King v King with the sweat lords is gonna be wild.

I love that they used the chivalry 1 objective horn to start the round. Wish you could go inside the citadel like the 1st game, the the ending stage is cool

If Argon does kill Malraux Argon says that “there’ll be more to come in the future” Tenosia is still running around after all, and maybe a relative of Malric could pick up the mason order, if Malric canonically died here

@@parkerreed9849 maybe it’s possible the winner will integrate the losing forces into their own ranks, then fight off Tenosia At that point civil war could break out in the ranks, which would allow for more mason vs Agatha stuff

Personally I don’t think it may be the last. It may just be a case that it’s cannon that argon the II never got to marulic. Sure it’s a possibility but it’s not certain

@@Swagmar I was just thinking on the same lines of, the map where argon is attacked and sometimes killed is still an event that happened but not all of it if you get what I’m saying? Plus there’s still campaigns for the devs to add on the tenosian front. (Other than raiding party)

Because given the whole "tenosia arc" is completely unresolved it seems very unlikely this is the "last update" Is it perhaps one of the same people who are blaming Torn Banner for a certain lad's self termination, so now they want everyone to quit the game this way given reviewbombing didn't do shit?

the source of these myths is not the game’s lore, but the employees of the company itself, who have been working on another game for about a year and a half, and Chivalry 2 is being made by other people outsourced. Many of TornBanner are working on NMRiH2 and it is listed on their LinkedIn. In addition, TornBanner is participating in the summer exhibition, where it will most likely show this game again.

​​​@@shoulderpyro Didn't Chivalry 1 end with the death of Freydrid, effectively resolving the conflict between the Masons and Agatha, at least for the time being? From what I'm thinking, Argon II does kill Malric, but will now focus his sights on Tenosia. They lost Bridgetown but retook Montcrux, making it a perfect staging ground. While he's off doing that, someone else rises to be the leader of the Mason order (the heir of Malric died at Rudhelm, so its not him), and they once again start another rebellion. Chivalry 2 could end with a cripping defeat for Tenosia, like their Empress dying, or something like that

I'm loving the new godendag. If feels like the blunt equivalent of a highland sword in terms of damage and speed, it doesn't got a lot of range. It also looks a little silly but overall it's a fun weapon if you like the highland sword and you hate knights, which just so happens to be the case for me.

Literally one of the best map and best updates with actually good pass items. If this is the final story update then they should make filler content for new TO and TDm maps, or make a VIP vs VIP sort of TDM mode with a bunch of kooky characters duking it out.

yeah Malrics a ton of fun man I'm loving his new Greatsword sometimes you can get over run if your teams not paying attention but overall both sides are fun

I mean troughout the battle malric keeps mentioning that tenosia is coming and that they need to stop them, i feel like if this was the last map they wouldn't throw in that many hints that tenosia is invading agathian lands. so they're probably going to focus on the tenosians because compaired to the other factions the tenosians don,t have a lot of cosmetics so that would make more sense

Right? Masons are my favorite faction but the Agathians had way better armor sets than them. Especially the footman class & Archer.

It could actually be that thats is NOT the last update. maybe they even add a now faction (pure speculation) cuz on some maps you can see corpses with green armor and on the duel yard map are grey tents

some of the Tenosian are green when you play the beginner mode you can se the tenosia faction wear green armor but hopefully we get something new I'm always down for new stuff we just got to see what Torn banner cooks up

Yeah Malric made some good points there was so much yelling I'm going to try to have a video up soon of there dialogue.

If this is the last update than what else are they working on? Chiv 3? At least nowadays companies usually have something else down the pipeline before cutting off support to a fairly active game

@@Swagmar Honestly, I do not mind the armour. I will heavily mind if the maps will be locked behind a paywall, though. Because if you think about it, they could pull a "Yeah, Malric died. This is the end... Buuuut, you can see the continuation with Argon II and the Tenosian Empire if you pay for the maps!". There's also the possibility that the new weapons will be behind a paywall too, which sucks

came here to comment about the game in general. Whenever i die, (whether its from an enemy or an accident from tm8's) i always commend/forgive them, as it either gives some of their points back, or even gives them more for winning the fight. Something that i notice is when i'm hacking away, killing hella players, i RARELY get commends, and if i do, its usually from high level players only. are chiv 2 players toxic?

When the game was new I felt like it was a better Chivalry, in some parts even a better Mordhau, but it couldn't hold me. Something about the game just feels so incredibly shallow that it didn't take long for me to get bored and I never felt the urge to play again, and I can't even say exactly why.
