I had the fortune to meet Celine backstage at her vegas concert in 2011. I was so incredibly nervous and excited but Also didn’t want to make a fool of myself. Celine gently rubbed my back while we were having a photograph and when I had a chance to turn to her and say something ….nothing came out ! I didn’t have anything to say that she probably hadn’t heard before. I looked at her like many people probably do in that moment and she looked back at me bemused by my adoration. Very humble person and kind. I still regret not saying anything but I’ll always remember that reassuring back rub!

You’re not the only one 🤩🤩🤩. All I said was “I love you so much” and when she took my hand for the photo, I got so emotional.. after the photo, she was talking to me, thanking me for going to see her, I took my hand gently out of her hand, turned to her brother who was holding my hanbag, and all I said was “sorry, I cannot talk anymore”. Didn’t say thank you, not even turned to her again, I was shaking like a leaf and left the room… when I got back to my seat for the show, I was still shaking and my neighbours asked me if I was ok. I told them I just had a meet & greet with Celine, they said if it happened to them, they would be in hospital after fainting 🤣🤣🤣. Still the best memory of my life so far. It took me 9 years and over 50 shows to meet her officially and I am very lucky indeed 🍀 …

She's a performer, it's how she met the love of her life, she truly adores her fans and invests herself in them, for that to be taken from her must be such a devastating thing, because it's her world. I love how, in a way, by naming this documentary “I Am: Celine Dion,” Celine is reintroducing herself to the public as she is today… after so much loss and profound hardship in her life over the last several years. She’s taking control/ownership of all the sides of her personality… the dramatic and funny “goofball” Celine and the gritty fierce Celine who is determined and brave and tough as nails. She’s always possessed all of these traits as she carved out one of the biggest careers in pop music history - but she’s really had to tap into her tough survival skills with the loss of her husband/manager, losing family members like her brother and mother, raising her kids as a solo parent, keeping her career going, and facing an incredibly rare debilitating disease. That’s a lot for any person. She’s one of the greatest singers of all time, so dealing with an illness that impacts your muscles, when the vocal cords ARE muscles, is devastating. This documentary is going to be such an illuminating watch to see how one of our greatest performers faces so many immense difficulties.

Being in a room with Celine Dion is electric! Those of us who got the chance to see her live are very lucky and I hope there will be more opportunities. Videos of her concerts, while great, don’t fully capture how epic her voice is and her ability to dominate a venue like very few of the all-time greats have been able to. I met her in 2015 backstage in Vegas a few months before her husband/manager passed away. She was just as humble, sweet and kind as you’d imagine. Even though she was about to go onstage, she took her time to talk with me and made me feel like I was her only priority in that moment. She was exactly as I’d hope she’d be, considering it was a dream of mine to meet her since listening to her self-titled album as a kid and being mesmerized by her soothing, powerful, crystalline voice. I hate that she’s been struggling with this disease. She is pure class. Pure talent. And a pure soul. A true icon! We all get to witness history of one of the greatest singers/performers of all time… many future generations will look back at her talent in awe.

Celine is one of the nicest singers and never do you read a bad wotd about her. She is truly thankful for her gift and life. You can have vast wealth, but you cannot buy your health. It made me tear up seeing her pain and fighting all she can and her love for her sons shines through. She is 1 of my favourite singers and seems humble. Neurological conditions are truly cruel.

I just finished watching this doc on prime and the last 15 minutes made me cry uncontrollably. Can't believe how much courage it took to show the public her entire state and muscle spasms during the onset of Stiff Person Syndrome. Brave! There are no words to describe her, everything about her is as powerful, healing and inspiring as her voice and character. I've seen her recently at some events in Las Vegas and she looked great. Hopefully she'll be back on stage one day and I hope I'll get the chance to see her show in person again.❤

I have never cried or laughed so much watching anything on tv before. I have been listening to Céline Dion’s music for 30 years, but never had the pleasure of going to a concert. Wish I could have. Céline, you are a legend. From your humble beginnings in Canada to super stardom worldwide you always stayed yourself. You’re an inspiration and will never be forgotten. As much as you miss singing and your fans, We want you better, and healthy for your family. We are not going anywhere and will support you always. Avec amour et appréciation ❤

This heartbreaking documentary is undoubtedly at the effigy of the transparency and humility that Céline Dion has always been able to demonstrate during her career. Céline, the image of the apple tree you used is very beautiful. Even though we appreciate so much the delicious fruit you offer to us, what we really want is for the tree to live. We all have, at another time in our lives, branches that break, crumble until they become completely friable. However, it doesn’t detract from all our respective journey and achievements. It's the same for you, Céline. The determination and perseverance you show is even more beautiful than the most sparkling apple. I wish you a lot of courage and love to you and your family.

This trailer gets me, and this documentary has not even been released yet. Seeing Celine like that, takes me back to how extremely rough it was, when Rene passed away. It was not a happy time for her, her family, her children, her fans from across the world, and her crew, then. I know that whatever she’s doing and however she’s living, Rene is smiling on down, and praising her, for how she’s handling everything with her health, and also with her children, and so much more. Celine, we all love you, dearly. 😭❤️😭❤️ And we all still miss Rene, too.

I can’t imagine how having a voice such as hers and no longer being able to use it. I do know how it feels to not be able to sing like you used to. Since I was diagnosed with RA and it affected my ear, I can’t hear myself well enough to properly carry a note. My left ear much of the time sounds like it’s under water. As well my vocals are not as strong as they used to be. I pray that she is able to return to the stage with a voice stronger and beautiful as ever. My favorite song by Celine is Color Of My Love.
