Hahahahaha thanks. Yeahh... I know, sometimes I also get a twintip but I wanted to do some loops with the foil too, its a different feeling than with twintip.

I was wondering how he kept the board on his feet with that much swing weight from a board, plus hydrofoil. He’s got insane skills tho eh. To be able to time the lift off the kite and lift from the foil must be difficult.

I honestly dont get it. I'm all about big air hydrofoil and megalooping twin tip. This seems like the worst of both worlds. I watched the first 4 min and all the jumps it doesnt show him land a single one. I also dont get why he wants 40 knots on a foil. I can get bigger air than he was in this video in 15 knots on a 10m, that's why foils are awesome. They are so efficient. The biggest downside is getting through shorebreak with it.

@GaryRR47 perhaps landing megaloops on am hydrofoil isn't your thing, and that's perfectly fine. I personally find it incredibly fun and exhilarating, and I wanted to share this video because I know there are others out there who feel the same way. Good stuff man. I started looping on foil too. I’m on OR Rise though so it’s like cheating. Can even do it on 19m kite with 20m lines. Surprisingly the shorter lines actually made looping easier on foil. What hydrofoil are ur riding? Cheers 🍻

Hii, thanks. Im riding a Sabfoil 101cm mast with w671 and s400, the board is a kind of Custom board, not really light bit its a race board. Cheers! 🤙🏽

A mega loop is when thr kite passes below the riders height.....

It could be, but for me a megaloop start when the kite pass through the power zone, it doesn't mean under the rider as you can see in one of the most important kite competitions, KOTA. 🔥 Maybe next time I will try to pass my kite unter myself 💪🏽.

@@Borjavellonkitefoiling its really not that hard to pass the kite below you and when you do thatll be a megaloop. Referenceing kota for credibility is pretty funny didnt they also try claim double loops hadnt existed before a few years ago despite anyone with a small kite having done them for decades usually by accident

I respect you for your courage, style and approach in general, I know that with foil it is very, very difficult to land at high speed, but if after years you still don't land them soft, not even one... probably, the megaloop should be left to the twintips . . ciao Christian

Thanks! Yeah... well, it is not that after years I didn't manage to land them, I am able to land some. The problem is that with these conditions, cold water, really choppy and wave water, wasn't as easy as expected. And about doing it with a twintip... i do but i can't help to do also some with the hydrofoil, its a different feeling. 🤪

Here’s one thing I don’t understand about foilers. I’ve see. 1 out of, let’s say, 100 actually do more than mow lawns. Any reason why most kite foil guys don’t even pop out of water. ? I’ve noticed wing foil guys don’t even do a simple back roll. Hell they rarely hit waves and swells, always on butter flat water.
