Yeah..TF, one of my favorites brands, not only in perfumery, but in fashion as well. Absolutely agree, regarding this less creative mainstream Estée Lauder direction it took nowadays. Really disappointing, really. TF Beau de Jour EDP is my favorite perfume of all time, that presents my personality by an amber fougere intense yet modern olfactive profile. I am obsessed by their strategy of modernization and bringing up to date classic masculine perfumery's concepts. Grey Vetiver EDP, F. Fabulous EDP, Noir de Noir EDP are also speaking to my soul. Noir de Noir is the my favorite interpretation of rose in perfumery ever created. (I am attached to rose as a man very much) Luckily, I am a proud also owner of Fougere D'Argent EDP and TF for Men EDT. The first one is just a fougere perfumery's phenomenon, really. Brilliant video!

Grey Vetiver for me. Smells like my dads push lawn mower did back in the 60-70s, a mixture of fresh cut grass and good old 3 in 1 oil. I love it, takes me back to a better time.

Ombré Leather was my first TF F. I have the EDP and the Parfume but when I smelled Noir Extreme EDP, WOW. yo. One of my favorite smells ever.

I happened into a bottle of the discontinued Noir EDT recently. When I first smelled it, I didn’t care for it at all- the overpowering musk note was just not for me. But there was something about it that kept drawing me back, and after a couple of weeks I really started to like it. It’s very different to a lot of the sweet scents that are around at the moment and feels very masculine, and high quality. The blend of different notes complement each other so well, the smell is complex and curious.

Amazing video Omar! If you ever get the chance, I'd love to see you review the scents from Ineke. I love their takes on scents. I'm rather new to the niche fragrance community and I'd love to see what you'd have to say about their lineup to see an experienced person's take!

My favourite TF ones are Noir de Noir and Metallique. I didnt like Metalique at first but it grew on me, its absolutely amazing.

The original Cafe Rose from 2012, I really adore that blend. I still have a tiny bit left in my bottle that I refuse to use because I cherish it 😅 I still have to try the re-release

The re-release is great, I’ve never smelled the original as I’m new to fragrance collecting but I smelled the new Cafe Rose and it’s a beautifully made fragrance and I’d highly recommend it especially for women

I have just tried a sample of TF Noir Extreme and it’s a winner for me, I will be buying a full bottle of it. I am interested in 2 others , namely Anthracite and Solieil Blank, if anyone else has tested these or has them I would be interested in their views on them.

I own Ombré leather and Grey vetiver. You can feel the quality when smelling a TF fragrance.

OL is the only TF that I own and yes the amount of time sampling 8n airports I ended up buying it when my flight was delayed by several hours. I do have a noir extreme inspired scent and am hoping to upgrade to the OG but will probably get Grey Vetiver.

Personally i do love Costa Azzura. The drydown is irresistible and for my skin performs really well.

Im really considering TF Noir Extreme along with Luna Rossa Black and Le Male Le Parfum for cold night date fragrance. I hope someday soon you will make a video where you include these :)

Great review! Thanks for the time and the effort put into this! There is another feminin one called Soleil Orchid which is a great one ! I totally agree with you on your black orchid take. I tried the OG, clones but I never got to like it, too much cloying for my taste. Instead, I advise people to try Halfeti leather or its clone Muhra by Lattafa which is in the same ballpark but with a twist that I kinda like.

Orchid Solei was amazing, especially blended with OG Black Orchid. Shame it was discontinued.

My sister gifted me Noir EDP for Christmas… didn’t love it at first, and she mistook what I wanted, which was Noir Extreme, but its not bad… not for everyone, but it does smell nice.

just bought my first tom ford. eau de soleil blanc smells amazing and its the perfect unisex summer fragrance

The metallique is so underrated, I’ve blind tested it in store, compared to other beasts and picked it over lots of great ones. It just stands out so much and is very unique. It only doesn’t last that long.

Great video. Very informative. Surprised not to see Oud Wood, Tobacco Vanille or Tuscan Leather, but maybe I missed something. You covered SO MUCH! I have only Oud Wood and Ombre leather, but I have smelled many others. All very nice, but many of the ones I smelled were quite similar.

I just got tom ford noir extreme 10 hours ago and it was just WOW. The spicy deep kulfi makes it such a sexy fragrance i cant get enough of.

Grey Vetiver is my favorite scent to wear to work

8:52 that EDP Costa azzura has celery seed in it and in a weird way smells sharp, sour, and clean all at the same time. I like it but I think it is even better after letting it macerate for a minute..

I've been meaning to get some of the signature collection (noir and obre leather), but only have some of the private blends. I love Tobacco Oud And have gone though 2 bottles (working on a 3rd). I have Tobacco Vanille, but Idon't love it, so the full bottle of that I have Just sits there and looks pretty. And Finally I have Plum Japonis, what a master piece, I hope they bring it back.

It really is a shame. Tobacco Oud is my signature scent and Plum Japonais is right behind it. Dua does make a pretty good clone of it called Plumlicious. The Alexandria clone is good too, but the Dua is better. Though for some reason every house discontinues their best creations. @@SchoolofScent

One of my favorite house as well ! From that line, I absolutely love Grey Vetiver (own both EDP & EDT ... not tried the Parfum version yet) & Noir EDP / EDT (a lighter version for day time). Beau de jour is also great !

Tom Ford was my favorite fragrance house at one time and I was a die hard fan. Super creative and great performing scents that rivaled some niche perfumery. In the last 3-5 years or so Tom Ford has been a let down to me. Most of my personal favorite scents are now discontinued. The ones that remain are watered down and don't perform (on my skin) and the prices are now sky high. I find myself avoiding new releases and Im just kind of left with a bad taste. After this video I decided Im finally going to try Black Orchid parfum and Noir extreme parfum as I have been wanting to check them out but for above reasons I have been putting it off. Good video Omar. Sorry for the negative vibes but TF can be a hot button.

Will you be picking up the upcoming Aaron Terence Hughes fragrances like Unicorn, Oud Noir and “person who sleeps around” elixir lol. I have been noticing if I post the actual name KZread will delete it 😢 I have tried the S Elixir I will call it and wow is all I will say! I like Oud Noir probably known to most as “Autumn Release” on their sample bottles until recently but I have not tried any of the Unicorn ones. I am yet to pick up a Tom Ford. I was thinking of Tobacco Vanille but have heard Aaron’s Tobac is very similar but lasts longer so I may try one of the others.

Tom Ford noir edp is my fav fragrance the drydown is impeccable. Does anyone kno the perfumer?

Yes, a very decent summary of the signature line. However, if you add the discontinued Anthracite, Orchid Soleil should have been on the list too, with an 8.5 ranking 😉 I think a Private Line summary is a 40 minute video and a dog to make…

I find tiny decants for testing as BS. The reason is, I believe... at least for me, is that one has to use a fragrance 3 or 4 times (without testing others at the same time). The reason is that you might love or hate a frag the first few times but eventually feel the opposite of it. The first few times you wear a frag you tend to only notice the more prominent notes particularly the top and mid. However after wearing it a few times is when you nose starts noticing and eventually concentrating on the base and dry down which is the largest part of the wearing experience. The little sample decants don't give you enough juice to really try a fragrance which is why I prefer at least a 5 ml decant to do the job.

Love beau de jour black orchid

Where is this "farm to table" on the wall scene from?

Black orchid is the only cologne I have smelled that has made me gag and the only one I had to TRY and wash off. It definitely took awhile for me to appreciate the scent.

Grey vetiver sounds good, but i have vetiver gris from jacques fath not sure if its redundant. I haven't tried a barbershop fragrance yet. Beau du jour sounds good but I'm tossed up between it and sartorial.

Thank you friend, I would say you do not need grey vetiver if you already own Vetiver Gris, my barbershop recommendation for the office would be Sartorial (but not in intense heat) or MFK Masculin Pluriel, hope this helps :)

TF prices have gone up significantly to the point where I cannot justify the price for Private Blends anymore. The signature line have increased a lot too but they’re still okay value for money unlike the Private Blend.

i bought a Noir Extreme EDP bottle produced january 2023 and it is watered down :( it smells less sweet and spicy as it used to be. As skinscent you get about 6-7 hours but its gone for all around me after 3.

Signature line is much better than private blend. Private blend has so many missed that its unbelivable how they can charge something 250€ for 50ml bottle.
