imagine telling a story like this and making it seem like your the best ever and racing at high speeds that takes lots of skill, while racing other pro riders.... but in reality your riding the gayest looking, slowest piece of shit ever, and your racing 4 other bikes that go about 80mph tops, and the other riders are drunk 60 year olds... its so fucking cringy - casey you think your the best ever, but in reality your a loser wanna be.
Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that suck when you’re on them. :)

From a guy that ONLY follows MotoGP, this my friend was an AMAZING story !!! Thank you for sharing !
Only Casey could manage to win a championship by accident!
I’m sure the scene in The Terminator where Arnold fiddles around with his eye using a scalpel causes Casey flashbacks
I love Casey because he's just as whacky as anyone can be in the gear head world. His channel is great content also because he teaches kids engineering and fabrication. Even if he's half a loon, that's hero status in my book

Damn right, having done motorbike trackdays, I was grinning all the way through. I can really identify with how he felt on that school day!
I invited my dad to a race. The first one he had been to that I was in. My mechanic let him catch me in the pits. I turned off the engine and said "Waddaya think Dad?!" He said, "Son, you look like a fly on a horses ass on that thing!" Thanks dad. Placed 13th that day......

That was a Great Story, Casey! Just the thing to warm my heart on a chilly Sunday afternoon. Thank you for sharing. Cheers.
"I coulda slapped him on the back of the head" lmao
Well deserved Casey!
That was the best story I've heard all year. Thanks !
Dammmmn, this was even worse than my first moto track day on my 05 R1, where it stormed so badly that only myself and about 4 other people actually went on track. Doing 130 on the "straight" at Heartland Park in 70 degree weather and a torrential downpour made all my subsequent track experiences nirvana by comparison.
Casey's stories are always so good! Thanks for sharing 🤙
I remember getting my AMA license and racing endorsement, I was fourteen and in Minnesota it was two fees and 20 minutes. This is just an example of how unorganized motorcycle racing is. (This was for motocross)
This just made me all kinds of happy! Kudos and great story!

Casey be like: watch me win this while being sick and just learning how to ride ! epic fun for sure!
Casey is so genuine i love it

Always a good story when Casey shows up 👍🏼👍🏼
I like that Dad no sells it. Lol. Sounds exactly like my family
Good story, Casey! I think the lesson of don’t over think it- just do it can apply to so much of what we do. Prep as much as you can but when you’re in the moment just do it.
The worst part is that he'll probably have to clean the carbs after this
Great story! Done minimal track time in my Datsun but, lotsa track time on my GSXR. Track days and road racing schools so, I can relate. Most fun track day was chasing David Aldana around Road Atlanta on identical brand new 1996 GSXR750s!
An AMA number plate is no joke!
LOL, I was laughing so hard at the end. LMAO!!! Freaking Epic!!!!!!
The definition of "fake it til you make it"
No mirrors on racebikes.. been racing vintage motorcycles since 1999 .. happy you enjoyed it... Can also spend all your money bike racing too
You’re definitely not supposed to have mirrors on the track lol
Your dad sounded like Indian parents ...Why only win Vintage Championship?
There are some days.......but you did not need a spanner.......and you won!!!! Brilliant & jamey.
Great story VINWIKI! Casey certainly has some good ones from his career! Just hope when I hit the track on two it's not raining and I have a starter with a push button lol! Till the next one! 🤘TEXAS!!!
Masochistic Dream Machine was my metal band name.
Feel like that dad's laugh means something to the effect of "I'd be dissapointed otherwise"
8:38 you just explained the average day here in Chicago
Not on the same level as you, but the day I did my first motorcycle trackday I had to ride there in pissing down rain with norovirus and chronic nerves, and just about made it through the day. So I totally know how you felt on that school day!
Now you own a certified Championship vintage motorcycle. Driving its value up considerably! A championship run for approx 3k? Worth twice that easy. Living vicariously through you sir. A great motorcycling tale.
What a great yarn! Thanks for sharing the tale!
OMG, what a story! And all of that on a bike with number 13,,,,LOL.

That was an awesome story!!!
Vinwiki needs to have Westen Champlin on here for his Porsche story
When I look at your action shots I can’t help but think, “I know he’s not a huge guy, but he looks like the classic bear on a tricycle” followed by, “wow, John Surtees must be nigh on a MIDGET!”
Dont take this the wrong way but, Casey always has bad moments, turns into a good moment & turns into best stories ever, always enjoyable 👌🏼
👽 I thought I had some good bike stories and heard some good ones over the years but it doesn't get any better than this. When you do the best you can when you can everything works out good for you.
I had a regional AMA number back in the day, did short track and TT racing around the tracks in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois. Won the region not by winning every race, but by showing up to every race and scoring points. Never placed higher than third.
I love this story. Classic.
What an amazing story!
New favourite story of all time
Ive always really enjoyed listening to Casey's stories, but this one is definitely my favourite. In no way do i doubt what Casey is saying however there's a couple of key points worth raising here. AMA national historic racing is an ultra competitive series especially at the pointy end of the field. The top 10 guys in each class are nearly always ex national superbike race winners from recent years or current big name young guns from the SBK and SS classes. Im not calling Casey a liar because you can clearly see him up on the podium with a microphone jammed in his face but lets be real for a moment, Unless Caseys last name is "Stoner" (2 x MOTOGP CHAMP) there is simply no chance in hell someone could just show up to a National AMA Championship round and defeat guys like Josh Heyes, Larry Pegram and Taylor Knapp im sorry it just doesn't happen. I would of liked Casey to of mentioned what class he rode in and what year this round was. Those results are easily checked giving Caseys story even more credibility. Im not trying to discredit Caseys riding / racing talent as its obviously well above average, but non bike people need to know just how amazingly fast the top guys really are.
Things that suck at first can turn out the best.
0:00 on constant rewind sounds like he's thinking uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Bikes... Greatest invention in history.
MORE BIKE STORIES PLEASE
The picture of two bikes, one with #13 and the other #666. The pair of the unluckiest most miserable yet fastest people on the track Im sure :D
Make that money Ed. Love it.
Him laughing is like what no one showed up?
Now that’s a story. Can’t make this bleep up! CP can tell it! Thank you!
