I especially like stoles, despite their impressive width and length. They can be worn in different ways:

Sometimes you think about how to convert this accessory into another product. This does not require any special sewing skills; everything is done very simply.
Let's look at one current idea where, with the help of a brooch, you can turn a stole into a stylish cape that will replace a light jacket or coat.
1) But first you need to insulate it. To do this, you can choose any fabric that matches the color. I had a piece of thick knitwear and used it.
2) I straightened the fabric and placed the stole on it with the right sides facing inward. I fastened the two parts along the edges with needles and stitched them. I cut off the excess fabric and turned the product inside out.
3) I ironed the seams and sewed finishing lines at a distance of 0.5 cm from the edge.
4) Where the fringe is, I left open cuts so that there are no distortions.
This stole can be worn in different ways:
- For example, fold it in the middle and throw it over your shoulders. Unscrew the edge, which is like a collar near the neck, and attach a brooch to the front. The lining greatly decorates the cape. You can make loops in the front and sew buttons.
- I prefer to move the cape to the side.
In this case, the fringe will lie diagonally.
In cooler weather, a fur collar will make the cape warmer.
