Yeah I love the concept, Oli just dropped in from After life accidentally and unknowingly into Empires, finds his ‘friends’ greets them and stuff but they’re confused as to who he is I why he acts like he knows them. Much ‘not lore’ Can’t wait to see what happens next :D

I was way behind so I am only getting to this now but my thought is that Oki did get there before everyone and killed the dragon but while he was roaming around Shubble did her magic and when she thought only her specific space shifted she actually shifted Oli forward in time.

I just realized, every Emperor’s first episode mystery. Who killed the dragon? Everyone was kinda a bit dramatic about it, but it was Ollie the whole time. He killed the dragon and opened the end portal 😂 “This is lore” they say when the dragon was gone. Ollie is the lore I guess lol

She just wanted to focus on one SMP, since she expressed that juggling two different SMP made her attention split from Hermicraft and Empires, leading her to have too many unfinished ideas, making her unsatisfied with her builds and slight burn out from such massive projects. And the invitation for Empires is always open for Pearl.

I love how even in godhood Pearl still has the doors that only let worthy people pass through

I came in out of curiosity, wanting to find out what the deal was with the dragon. I was not prepared for this amount of chaos, and phenomenal storytelling, and I never watched afterlife so I had no clue what was going on with that but good lord if it wasn't entertaining. And my gosh I wasn't prepared for the Pearl cameo but it made me very happy.

Now i am questioning something very interesting. Is empires 2 fully oli's imagination? Did he miss his friends so much after they left in 'Afterlife' that he is making this story up? Am i thinking too much? Idk but this lore is chefs kiss.

This story that you made is amazing from you being the last person in afterlife smp to you being the one speedruning in empires smp s2. Such an awesome video overall

i love the detail of having Oli just having always been there bringing up the "Who killed the ender dragon?" question after so long was really clever!

I think what always brings Oli’s videos to the peak of existence on youtube is the time spent on editing (especially with this video length). Can always count on him to create the perfect conditions to live laugh love. Truly iconic, as always, good sir

HE'S STILL ALIVE! AND THE EDITING IS STILL AMAZING Every single episode feels like it's its own movie and the musical numbers (I was particularly fond of the Oli witcher rendition) were never below 100% in effort. Quality content that is absolutely worth the wait!

As someone who has been awaiting your arrival to empires smp since the first episode of season 1 (and discovered your twitch instead), I would like to say: WELCOME KING

I loved this so much I genuinely cannot emphasize how much I enjoyed watching this as my first introduction to your content (apart from cameos on other people's videos/streams)

Ok it all makes sense. This episode's editing must have been several months alone. You've been trapped in Premiere Pro all this time. Worth it.

Oh THAT’s how enough time elapsed for Gem to get her wings and the Great Bridge (with Sausage’s sculpt on it) to appear. Now how did Oli fall from Dawn to Gobland thousands of blocks away? Sneaky goblin shenanigans are afoot…

Edit: Now that's I've had time to process (and watch it again) this was just glorious. The switch to afterlife to empries was great, and I am certainly looking forward to a Oli and Sausage reunion and also two songs in one video? A suprise appearance from Zeus? It was just great, can't wait to see what we get next What I'm taking from the heaven bit is that afterlife and both empries have a connected afterlife and Pearl is God now which I mean I didn't think I wanted that but it's clear I did

Since Pearl is Australian I think she was technically ruling over hell (you know, the whole "upside down" thing). Which actually makes a lot of sense.

That was everything and more that I need in life. Thank you, Oli for that one video of the experience in Empires.

i love how Oli goes from afterlife to empires and the lore he makes. but we all know that his bits are the best part
