Interstate 93 (I-93) is an Interstate Highway in the New England states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont in the United States. Spanning approximately 190 miles (310 km) along a north-south axis, it is one of three primary Interstate Highways located entirely within New England; the other two are I-89 and I-91. The largest cities along the route are Boston, Massachusetts, and Manchester, New Hampshire; it also travels through the New Hampshire state capital of Concord.
I-93 begins at an interchange with I-95, US Route 1 (US 1) and Route 128 in Canton, Massachusetts. It travels concurrently with US 1 beginning in Canton, and, with Route 3 beginning at the Braintree Split on the Braintree-Quincy city line, through the Central Artery in Downtown Boston before each route splits off beyond the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge. The portion of highway between the Braintree Split and the Central Artery is named the "Southeast Expressway", while the portion from Boston to the New Hampshire state line is named the "Northern Expressway".
I-93 ends in Waterford, Vermont, at I-91. For most of its length, I-93 indirectly parallels US 3. In New Hampshire, the two highways have several interchanges with each other, as well as a concurrency through Franconia Notch State Park.

Yes, and it gets even better after where he stopped. Some of the best scenery from an interstate in the Eastern US is I-93 through the Whites/Franconia Notch.

It's nice that 93 between Salem and Manchester is now 4 lanes from being 2 lanes, it helped with the flow of traffic.

At the beginning of the video you are actually in Woburn MA. Prior to the junction with I-95 / MA 128 you are in Stoneham for about 0.20 mile before entering Reading and then reentering Woburn. Also, you have Londonderry NH misspelled as Londerberry in the small graphic. South Hooksett is not actually a town AFAIK. According to Wikipedia it is a CDP, a part of Hooksett. Before I moved to Texas, I-93 north of Exit 1 in NH narrowed to 2 lanes. The result of the widening to 4 lanes to the southern junction with I-293 has created an anomoly. From just south of Tewksbury MA to Exit 1 in Salem NH, I-93 is 3 lanes in each direction, down from 4 lanes in each direction north and sourh of these points, with much of the MA portion allowing breakdown lane (shoulder) travel during the weekday rush hour, something which I am opposed as it is very hazardous, especially if you are trying to enter or exit I-93 from any of the intermediate on/off-ramps.

I guess the exit for NH 101 EB was built when the US was considering going metric.

NH been doing that on all their highway concurrencies in fact I believe NC only does the unisign with I-87
I have a feeling about signing both state capitals along I-93. Why didn't they sign Lawrence MA and Manchester NH for northbound, but instead, they sign Concord NH next? After all, they're more populous than the state capital, but signing the state capital is important to me too. I have a suggestion to sign cities for northbound I-93 between Boston and Concord NH.: •Boston (southern terminus) -Lawrence, MA (leaving Downtown Boston | interchange with I-90/Mass Tpke) •Manchester, NH (interchange with I-495 MA) •Concord, NH (interchange with I-293)

Lawrence MA was formerly on the signs on northbound I-93 starting in Boston prior to the Big Dig. The signage was changed to Concord NH after the Big Dig was completed.

@@DWNY358 I can't wait until he gets to I-89. Todd probably will say that it starts in the middle of nowhere and goes through the middle of nowhere! I reference what he said at the beginning of the eastern I-84 video, calling its eastern terminus "in the middle of nowhere."
