I-70 Vail Pass is AWESOME. I haven't driven there in 5 or so years, but remember just how sweet it was. My ears would be popping all the time! And the views were insane!

Ya know...in all honestly, this has gotta be your best work, to date. This felt like a hybrid documentary/biography of a man's greatest achievement, while still offering great footage of a spectacular stretch of roadway. Loved the maps and images in the beginning, too. Great chronological story and commentary in this. Again, your best work to date! Favorited.

Interstate 70 is definitely my favorite highway in the USA. I don't live in Colorado but seeing this it's more beautiful. I live in Ohio. Love seeing the high mast street lights and would love to drive seeing the Rockies too.

Just back from a round-trip from Buffalo to Las Vegas, and I'd watched your videos in preparation. The drive west was stunning, and I stayed overnight in Avon, just past Vail. Driving back, though...got to Vail Pass at night, and it was sleeting. Only managed to go 50 mph at most, in my Prius C. I've driven in Buffalo snowstorms many times, but I didn't know what to expect here and it was nail-biting for me. But I made it through in one piece, and I'll know what to do if I drive here again.

As I recall . . . when Russia had campaigns against Afghans there were proposals for hydro projects. It would be nice if America could make good on 'true intentions' with Afghan patriots arrested by putting them on prison buses and take them on tours of this continent to show them what is possible. They live in mountainous areas where distances are frequently blocked by the terrain. Showing them AND subsequent law violators things like this just might be a ticket to understanding what humanity can do.
