I recognized a helluva lot of this drive! California born & raised. Have driven I-5 all the way from Canada 🇨🇦 to Mexico 🇲🇽 at least 5 times over the 54 years of my life I was out there! Now I enjoy watching the I-80 time lapse videos, as I'm up in Southern Idaho now!

I moved to Seattle this June, of 2023. I drove all the way across the Southwest from Alabama. (Do NOT miss the Bible Belt at ALL) I remember finally getting to Bakersfield and getting onto I-5 North. These sights are SO familiar and nostalgic. I love it.

It's crazy how much of this I can recognize. Growing up in Washington i've done this drive at least a dozen times in the last 15 years

The title should San Diego to chehalis. Still about 60 miles from Seattle when it ended.

Traffic ughh - big rigs on I5 jumping into the fast lane is always a special moment !

I once drove from San Diego to San Luis Obispo and it was long and so painful we left SD at like 5:00 PM or Something but it was midnight wen we got there

How was the drive? Planing on driving there also. How many times did you stop for gas? And how much cheaper was it rather than flying/ train

Eh, it's more of how you want to travel, I think it was about 5 fill ups. Not interested in doing that drive again, done it too many times.

That's awesome! Hope you guys had a good trip! I know that drive's brutal, did that last December ^_^() What brings you guys to Seattle? RF?

What a gloomy night that is at the start of the trip.

I think this gets to around mach 7 (ish). If you play it at twice the normal speed, its more like mach 15. Leaving planet earth and reaching low earth orbit requires a little over mach 25.

Even slowing down to 0.25 it's not really watchable... Super choppy, missing a LOT of frames at this speed of video unfortunately.
