From Wikipedia:
Interstate 35 (I-35[a]) in Texas is a major north-south Interstate Highway running from Laredo near the Mexican border to the Red River north of Gainesville where it crosses into Oklahoma. Along its route, it passes through the cities of San Antonio, Austin, and Waco before it splits into two auxiliary routes just north of Hillsboro. I-35E heads northeast where it passes through Dallas. I-35W turns northwest to run through Fort Worth. The two branches meet up in Denton to again form I-35, where it continues to the Oklahoma border. The exit numbers for I-35E maintain the sequence of exit numbers from the southern segment of I-35, and the northern segment of I-35 follows on from the sequence of exit numbers from I-35E. I-35W maintains its own sequence of exit numbers.
In Texas, I-35 runs for just over 503 miles (810 km), which does not include the 85-mile (137 km) segment of I-35W. It does include the 97-mile (156 km) segment of I-35E. Texas contains more miles of the overall length of I-35 than any other state, almost one-third of the entire length.
The Interstate is currently undergoing an extensive renovation and expansion project, known as 'My35'. The project includes work on portions of the Interstate from Dallas south to Laredo. Once complete, the highway will span three lanes in each direction from Hillsboro to San Antonio.

I used to drive this journey: Sachse (which is just northeast of Dallas) to Woodway (which is a suburb of Waco) every Friday afternoon in my 2001 Suburban. It has definitely changed significantly over the past 20 years.

At the end of the video, the area west of I-35 is the city of Hewitt; the area east of I-35 is Robinson. Most of the urban portion of Robinson is along US 77 with some parts along Loop 340/TX 6.

If you pay attention to little details like me, it always sounds like the cars around you are harmonizing with the highway with you. Everyone's tires dragging across the highway as we all are different people going different places.

U should do another video. They r currently in Phase 2 of 3 phases for I35E. The last time I tried to go to Waco the old way, like I've been doing for 10 years, I ended up in Irving, twice. I never saw any signs for Waco after the one further back.

Is it just me or did they make the highway wider? I am asking because I have actually seen this route and from what I remember, the highway was only two lanes from Red Oak through Waxahachie and north of Dallas, the highway was three lanes from Farmer's Branch through Carrollton and Lewisville, then when I travelled farther north beyond Hickory Creek, the highway narrowed down to just two lanes through Corinth, Denton, and beyond.

Yes, they've widened it lots. There's even parts from Dallas to Lewisville where it's 6 lanes now
