@@RB-RDean is probably the easiest companion to fail at saving in the dlc. Even when trying to screw him over, many people end up fighting him in the end do to choosing the wrong choices in dialogue with him through Dead Money

You do a great job at explaining what’s going on in the game, a lot of people just talk about how they “got an achievement for doing this quest” but you actually explain what the quest is as well

Nailed it brother, I got all the achievements on 360 back in 2020 & looking to get all the trophies on PS3 soon - the Gun Runners Challenges were the absolute worst haha.

What i did at 15:13 before confronting Lanius i would use a meeting people magazine to get my 80 speech to 100 & convince him to surrender so i didn't have to fight him and i can skip to the final dialogue i did that 3 times for each faction except Legion

Just platinumed New Vegas last night if anyone feels like giving up or wants to throw in the towel because of bad frame rates & constant freezing just know that all your hard work will soon pay off and it only took me 48 hours to finish

I did all the GRA challenges on hardcore mode. Killing 5 deathclaws with a .22 when you’re a melee build is a pain.

I have a question I have the virtual console version on PS5 but you can’t get DLC to you know a workaround? I have a ps3 with fallout new Vegas goty but those DLC don’t carry over

Yeah unfortunately you’re unable to get the DLC via PS+. It sucks, really wish Sony would have DLCs on older Stream-only games.

When starting off my Special I have Strength 5, Perception 7, Endurance 6, Charisma 1, Intelligence 8, Agility 6 & Luck 7 is my special decent??

I think so, you can get the Charisma up with time and the others are more important for a 100% playthrough

Pickpocket is a hard trophy to get as you need to get 50 people same for caravan master too. Rest of the trophies are pretty easy.

My first playthrough I didn't pay attention to my sneak at all and I was getting caught every single time so when I went for the DLCs I maxed it out quickly haha made it go by much faster

I hope they do something similar to what borderlands done with the remaster and put its second game and its prequel in the same disk. So you could open and choose the game and both games had all dlc. If they do that and add a sprint button I’d be happy with that. But I understand there’s about a million hurdles to get over for that to even happen

Hey ! Ive not yet watched the video as I’ve never played new vegas and want to go in blind so got this on my watch later for when I play the game, recently did fallout 3 and didn’t have as many issues as some said the ps3 had but I used a lot of the strats to help it so only crashed like 6 times I think? Wondered how this one was for you. Heard new vegas is a lot worse from what I’ve read online and wondered how it was for you. I’m sure you mention it in the video but don’t want to watch too far in for spoilers so was going to watch after I finish the game but want to know if I’m gonna be in for as rough a ride as people say! Thanks!

Honestly if you have PS+ and are able to play it on the PS4/5, you shouldn't have many issues. I didn't crash at all during the DLC playthrough on the PS3 for this video but it definitely got VERY laggy at certain points. Because I played the base game on the PS5 though I didn't have any crashes.

Ahhh okay that’s a potential idea then thank you! I played 3 and dlc all on ps3 and ended up like doing each dlc then reverting the save to back where I had it at end game (basically deleting my dlc progress but having the trophies) so was going to try that but didn’t think about going on the ps5 and streaming it then just using ps3 soley for dlc. Thanks for the tip! Will have to see if my internet likes streaming the game, don’t do that often so sometimes doesn’t work for long periods but then again it might just run worse in ps3 so might be a pick my poison situation

I wanted to ask when you played this game on the ps3 did you count how many crashes did you have during your fallout new Vegas experience? Is it worse than when you played fallout 3 on ps3?

I actually didn’t crash at all on the PS3 for this one. I had certain points in the DLC where it was VERY slow/laggy but it never actually crashed.
