Harold has been around since the beginning of fallout, every time I think of him part of me wishes that not killing him in the mission was canon and he’d show up in Fallout 4.

@@ItzSweetTrav Perhaps if he was in state like in Fallout 1-2 could have an appearance but in a tree state is unlikely. He cannot move and probably had lot of backpains in veggie state. Can't even scratch himself. The death is better than living like a tree.

Playing the playstation version of older bethesda games is actually wild ☠

When playing on the ps3 save and close the app and restart it every 2 hours. Itll save on lag, bugs and other game issues. The engine can only handle so much data change without a reset. It's helped me significantly. First sign of lag reset. Not having game breaking bugs is a god send in these trying times

I actually noticed that, seemed like every 2-3 hours it was happening early on. After awhile it was random but still, probably could’ve saved myself a few crashes. Thanks for watching!

One of the funniest things in fallout three comes from burning Harold with a flamer thrower. There’s even a special GNR dialogue about the smell of fresh wood burning

2:47 Seeing the high amount of people claiming that Fallout 3 crashes on PS3, I'm starting to believe that it happens only on NA PlayStations/discs, as I've never heard someone I know to be European say that Fallout 3 crashes for them. On the other hand, my UK version of Fallout: NV Ultimate Edition does occasionally freeze up

That’s very interesting, I honestly can’t say I know anyone who has played a non-NA version of the game on PS3 to verify but that’s pretty crazy. Surprisingly I had no issues with New Vegas when everyone said it’d be worse than 3.

Great video man, I recently started the Fallout journey and got the platinum for FO3 over this past month, currently going for NV. Unfortunately the PS NOW on PS4 does not include the DLCs for any game, so I can only play the basic version and miss out a ton of great stuff

Yup, it stinks. For 3 I did the entire game on the PS3 but I was smarter with Nee Vegas doing the base game on PS5 and DLC on PS3. Thanks for enjoying the video!

I never played 3 on PS3, but I did have New Vegas on the 360 and boy oh boy was that rough on the crashes and load times. Fallout 3 looks REALLY ROUGH stuck at 30 on the ps3, good job on powering through

I gotta say, i really hope that all that leaked info that came out last year was true cause Id love a fallout 3 remake. On a new engine, not the BS fo4/76 engine lol

@@andrew1upsyou just save your game right before you level up and kill a bunch of people to lower your karma. If you need good karma donate to the church in Rivet City

@@andrew1ups No problem! I should've explained it more in the video. Basically once you get to about the halfway mark of the level before the trophy (7, 13, 19, 29), make a save. Then depending on your karma level, you can do a few things. The best way to earn good karma easily is by giving purified water to the guy outside of Megaton and the best way I found to get bad karma quickly was to sneak around and steal everything you can. Only kill enemies when you're going for the XP to level up and you should get them pretty easily.

I used the teleporter to go back to the center where you find the NPCs and walked right back to the front of the ship, don’t know if my game was bugged or something but it let me lol

had to watch this after the new vegas one good stuff, good stuff

You do realise when doing that Mirelurk mission for the Wasteland Survival Guide, there's a door at the rear of the anchorage memorial with an average lock, pick it and you walk about 40ft in and plant the tracker 😂😂😂 Could've saved yourself soooo much time 😅

Legit question: im currently about 30-35 hours into Fallout 3 on PS3 and have never had a single crash or lag spike. Is the entirety of the crashing all towards endgame when your save file gets too big and all the impact your character has had becomes too much to load? Or am i just super lucky? Im playing on a PS3 super slim with a brand new disc reader installed.

I actually bought 3 GOTY & New Vegas Ultimate off of Amazon a couple months back for like $40 total, might be able to snag them that way if you don’t already have the base games.

I hardly see people make videos about fallout 3 it’s always just nv or 4.

I just platinumed it & i almost cried because my game started to freeze & crash after I would finish exploring a location it got to the point I would have to save after each loading screen it got tedious I only did The Pitt, Broken Steel & Operation Anchorage’s trophy’s before getting all the Bobbleheads, Completing all quests & lastly killing all the Super Mutant Behemoths which I saved the best for very last I’ll still try & get the rest of the trophy’s

I played this entire playthrough on PS3. For New Vegas (video dropping shortly) I played the base game on PS5 and came back to PS3 for the DLCs.

The other Fallout games are fine but for some reason Fallout 3 is just soooo green and New Vegas is soooooo orange. Did they only have a limited colour palette in Bethesda's early days?

If I’m not mistaken the reason they had so much green in F3 was because they wanted the color palette to match up with the pip-boy so it didn’t feel out of place since it was such a huge focal point. As far as NV’s orange I would assume that just had to do with the setting of the game because Arizona IRL does have a very orange color with the terrain and stuff.
