Everyone forgets the cutscene where Traveler wields the silver sword instead of the dull blade, I believe it was in Sumeru and represents the changing of his power.

i actually fully ascended and leveled the sword just to see if it resembles the original. its actually a sick looking sword but its almost totally blue.

I have a feeling the sword is sealed in a vault and can only be unlocked with the last obtained Oculi from each nation

I wouldn't be surprised if Hoyo gives the traveler's original sword and wings as a glider as a reward for the last part of the first arc of Genshin's story. Given all big money making gacha games go thru multiple story arc's(FFDOO, AFK Arena, HI3, some other 4th one I can't think of at the time of this comment) Hoyo is defiantly gonna continue the story after the seven archons/find your sibling story so it would make sense to give the sword and wings as the reward for completing the first story arc.

You mean the Teyvat arc? If so then we still have 2-5 years before that's done (2 if only nations, 4 if Khaenri'ah and Celestia are included). I expect the Abyss to be it's own arc following the Teyvat one. After all Genshin is confirmed as a 12 year plan and we'll be getting Snezhnaya in the fifth year of the game, leaving 7 years of things we litterally know nothing about and can't even speculate at all except if it's the Abyss. I expect the Traveler to get his sword and wings after he first gets all the elements. Probably before facing the big boss of the Teyvat arc (either the sibling (in my case Lumine), the Sustainer or a being we haven't encountered yet). It makes sense for the Traveler to get his sword, wings and power before facing the final boss since both the Sustainer and the sibling are currently far stronger than the Traveler, and I don't think a dull sword will make the cut when facing either, since both are probably scale higher than anything we faced so far (yep, that includes Azhdaha, Ei, god Scara, Osial etc).

We already know that. The official trailer literally says that all acts up to Khaenri'ah are just "Chapter: Teyvat", so after completion there may be a "chapter: Abyss realm", a "chapter: light realm" or something else.

We'll probably get the sword later as a 5star weapon along with a power-up to make the traveler feel like an actual 5star character. Or I'm just coping because I leveled the Traveler to 90 by mistake lol.

Yes I can imagine it and it sounds like dog shit. The only people who would use that are current MC mains. No weapon will make traveller compare to current characters. Problem with MC is they don't do well in any element. Sure dendro mc is good to a degree but Alhaitham and Nahida will always be better and I doubt pyro or cryo mc is gon do anything above average

They better give it an insane Passive; my dream would be to boost Max HP by 384% Crit Rate by 95% Crit Damage by 250% and Elemental Damage by 100% and have a base damage @LVL 90 of 1463 with the substat being Cooldown Reduction of 50%, and as an Easter Egg its LVL 1 base damage would be 117 and CDR of 7.7%. Names; Luna Prime (Lumine) Sol Prime (Aether).

​​@@EthHawke94Ok,more balanced version now Traveler's blade Level 90 Main stat: 584 ATK Substat: 54.(whatever) crit rate Gimmick: Depending on element gonna give buff to specific substat for entire team (Like Physical atk for cryo,EM for Hydro,ATK for Pyro,ER for Electro and blah blah) And on burst gives doubled of that buffs while also stacking with buff from elemental skill Locked potential:Only Traveler can wield this weapon

@@skell6134 i have a better idea for a Perk; universal Elemental Damage infusion on all Normal/Charged Attacks for 12-30seconds/28-66Attacks after an Elemental Skill/Burst is used for Traveler and all Allies in addition to a unique effect depending on the element used; Anemo: reduced stamina use and movement speed, Geo: increased defence and resistance to interruption, Electro: energy recharge and cooldown reduction, Dendro: Elemental Mastery, Hydro: healing on all attacks and abilities, Pyro: attack speed and damage increase, Cryo: increased Crit Rate and Damage and freeze on attack. All buffs Last for 12seconds on Elemental Skill Cast and 30seconds on Elemental Burst Cast. Edit: it can only be used by the Traveler and increases Normal Attack level by +5 and Elemental Skill and Burst by +2.

I swear to god that sword will be event-exclusive and increase physical dmg by 60% when on the traveler

The traveller's main strength comes from the elements he's slowly gaining from each nation, not so much his weapon. But then again, I hope that if he/she eventually gets back their own weapon that they'll become even more powerful

2:55 It's really simple, I can tell you didn't really pay attention to the first cutscene. When Lumine was sealed, she was holding on to her sword, but when aether's sword was caught, he let go of it so he didn't get sealed along. He only got caught a while after, and the cubes used to catch him had a different pattern on them. Since he didn't get caught with his sword, it was probably sent to some different place.

Traveler uses both weapons Dull Blade and Silver Sword, we've only seen him using Silver Sword is when he fought Andrius and when Childe saved him/her. So far we've only see them using Dull Blade

maybe one day when we go back to mondstadt or a major city, we meet our sibling and also kaeya, an at that moment kaeya would then tell us about the sword and its location, and thanks to this info we can go head to head with lumine and end the long sibling fight, making lumine wake up from reality and be cleanse from the corruption of abyss

Its either that the weapon os being kept in Sheznaya or in Natlan. If its in Natlan than the weapon can be obtained as a prize after a duel with the god of war.

If the sword is free, watch hoyo make it a 5 star weapon with a base attack of 565 and a low/mid attack % or ER sub stat x.x. I am half way joking..but I hope they make this sword a 5 star free and op..even if it has a strict condition like "can only be used on traveler". By the time we get the sword, the story will probably be ended or DAMN near ending so it will be nice if hoyo made the travelers sword a op 5 star that is free for everyone...one can only dream. XD. Edit: after reading the comments I saw someone say that the gaining the elements and finding your sister might only be one part of the story and the story will continue, and we will get the travelers signature sword and wings (as a wing glider) for free after we complete that part of the story.(And it will actually be a good weapon) I hope that is true.. After all, I'm pretty sure Teyvat is just one continent of many on the planet (iirc..could be wrong)..soo..It could be possible. 🤔🤔

it's statted that genshin should go for total of 10 years so 7 years of regions being realesed then 3 years of something else so it would make sense there would be nd part

If u look closely, when Lumine appears from the Abyssal portal, she has Aether's sword in her hand (The sword with a crescent moon) How I know it was Aether's sword and not Lumine's? Even though we always see Lumine holding the Crescent sword even in the opening cutscene, if you look closely the constellation of Aether has a Crescent sword, while Lumine's constellation has the star shaped sword I guess they swapped their swords before they came to Teyvat

If lumine was holding it in the opening cutscene it was her sword. The sword aether was holding before being sealed was his sword and is the missing sword. Unless lumine ends up giving it to aether and gets another sword it’s not the one aether will get.

Why are your videos slowly transitioning to Wei's style of editing

Tbh I’m not 💯 convinced that Lumine and Aether showed up in Teyvat during the Cataclysm. Why would the sustainer of heavenly principles send a powerful alien, to Khanriah whom Celestia was actively at War with, as soon as that alien showed up? Also if Khanriah was in the process of destroyed by Celestia and fighting back abyssal creatures, how’d they have the time to name Lumine the princess of Khanriah? I think that Lumine and Aether actually showed up during the war with the second throne and were sealed then. Khanriah figured out how to unbreak Lumine’s seal and bring her to Khanriah, possibly through the experiments that Gold was doing. I think they were unable to unseal Aether, so Gold created Albedo as a replacement for him. Eventually Celestia gets wind that Khanriah unsealed a powerful alien and that was the catalyst that actually started the Cataclysm. I think that since the Cataclysm was the most recent apocalyptic event, Aether just assumed that it must of been the apocalyptic event that was happening when he and Lumine showed up. I think both twins were sealed for a few millennias. Also I’m extremely curious to find out who unsealed Aether. I think he came from un named time and wind Island off the coast of Mondstat where we started our journey in Teyvat. Maybe it was the time God Istaroth, who unsealed him, knowing the heavenly principles had been slumbering since the cataclysm.
