Hello ... Is this the same procedure for a 2008 Hyundai azera limited headlight removal ?

I took out the first two and the assembly was able to wiggle but still felt attached somehow. I knew there had to be a third bolt somewhere! Thanks for taking the time to share the tip guys! :)

Do you have to drop the b bumper to change the headlight assembly on a 2018 Hyundai Sonata se

So, I did this recently and the change out of old to new lights went well. However, I have no luck adjusting the direction on the beams themselves. The passenger side headlight shines off to the right and is a little high. I tried using the adjustment screws located on the top of the plastic panel right above the lights, but that did not make any difference. Should I go to my local garage and have them do it?

My 2009 Sonata does not have the third bolt as indicated. Something at the very bottom of the light assemble prevents removal. It doesn’t feel like a solid mounting but rather some sort of hook that stops the assembly being pulled out. I worked a while to find the solution but couldn’t my car is a 2.4L I4 engine. The lights assy is otherwise identical to the one shown in the video. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Question, when installing LED light strips to lay on the headlight and it comes with 3 wires a red,black and yellow. Red is for the bright white light and yellow is for the turn signal and black is ground. For a 2008 Hyundai Sonata whwre is the turn signal wire and what color is it so I can connect the wires

If you have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata there are not three bolts, just remove the top two bolts then gently pry up while pulling the assembly out.

if you remove the 2 clips to the air intake duct and pull that out first, it would be even easier.

It is a minor challenge but not with a Dewalt 90 Degree Angle Adapter. Bro, every man should have one of these in his tool kit. I JUST changed out my passenger side headlight assembly in ten minutes. www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-Right-Angle-Drill-Adapter-DWARA50/203867866

If you think replacing the headlight assembly is tough, try replacing bulbs on the third brake light - the one mounted to the package shelf. Now THAT is inconvenient!

I have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata Ltd and needed to change the front driver’s side turn signal light bulb. I watched the video showing how to remove the headlight assembly without removing the bumper cowling. BUT there was no “long” 3rd bolt. NONE. The assembly wiggled with the two(2) 10 mm bolts removed, and I sure as hell wasn’t going to remove the bumper cowling, so I pushed pulled the assembly out and pulled up and out - and it came out cleanly, NO “THIRD BOLT!” Maybe the smooth talking demonstrator should find a 2009 Hyundai Sonata Ltd and do another video showing how it is done. Me -1; Hyundai Dealerships - O !!

Any advice on doing this? I'm trying to replace the parking/side marker light and I'm struggling with getting out the headlight. I honestly started to think I have to remove the top bolts of the bumper. Any advice is appreciated 👍

The passenger side on mine was a bitch. The interior bolt is even more inconviently placed than the drivers side one. Without the correct tools it's impossible to reach. I didn't have time to get the correct socket wrench so basically I had to break the housing just to get the headlight out. Super annoying and took me half an hour of struggling.

Will a socket with extension work for that bolt or do you recommend something else? Just asking cause I'm getting ready to replace mine on passenger side.
