Using this since a year. Diesel automatic top variant. I get unbelievable mileage. I have clocked 28kmpl by cruising at 80-90. Stunning luxury. Loaded with features.

Bro test it by tank to tank method it will got go above 19kmpl.

Cruise: 80-100Km in Eco Mode Highway. Mileage 22Km/L. Alcazar AT Diesel. I don’t want to sell my properties to fill up my car in present situation. I don’t think so Higher engine CC will get this mileage like TaTa or Mahindra or MG. Features are good for the money. I like Hyundai service.

@@dhruvmaini I’m getting 14. Try to avoid braking in most of the situations especially at traffic lights 🚦 gradually slow down and speed up. Maintain temp at 22-25. Might be you get my results like 14.

@@travelwithaash while buying the car showroom told me that real world mileage in city will be 17-18, yet to see that. Sometimes I do get 13-14 but it keeps fluctuating bw 11-14. Never seen above 14 tho. If we are getting this kind of mileage, I wonder what petrol version would be getting?

Also what is your opinion on the middle console with the gear shifter and cup holder. That middle console is only of my top major disliking a of the car, it squeaks a lot when it comes in contact with body, and gives a out a cheap and plastic vibe while all the other interior of the car is top notch. One more little design flaw I would say is the placement of air purifier touch screen, the hand rest is meant to rest your hand and whenever I keep my hand there it almost always comes in contact with the purifier screen and the screen gets unlocked or the purifier gets turned off, so annoying.

@@dhruvmaini it’s diesel. And it comes only in highway that too in long drive. Like from Hyderabad to Chennai. Hyderabad to Bangalore. Hyderabad to Mumbai. In such highways i m getting 21-22. It’s best for highway cruise.

I bought the Alcazar 7 seater diesel automatic last month. I chose it after comprehensively test driving Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. I love the power of the Alcazar. I drive a lot in the mountains and the sports mode is a real life saver. Power delivery is same like all other suvs I tested as Alcazar is lighter. Harrier is the heaviest and I didn't like the heavy steering in the city. Its very tiring. Also the MID sucks in Tata vehicles. I own an Altroz and I know. Kia Seltos has a good 360 degree camera but lacks many features which are in Alcazar. Creta is amazing and essentially is the same car as Kia Seltos with a redesign. I loved the more premium interior in Creta but paying little bit more I got the Grand Creta which is called Alcazar in India. I love Alcazar as its boot space is huge with the last row folded down completely. I use Alcazar as a 5 seater. Best thing I love about Alcazar is the automatic torque converter diesel engine. Nobody can match Hyundai's level of smoothness. It feels like driving a petrol car. I even considered Jeep Compass but the premiumness and gadgets of Alcazar really impressed me. I did a short speed test and I couldn't get a chance to go beyond 176 kmph as there were vehicles in front of me. I always drive in sports mode and I just love it. In mountain roads while going uphill with 4 adults, a big dog and luggages, I loved the smooth acceleration. Its so effortless. Really happy with this amazing powerful engine.

@@ssahoo5500 bhai same engine doesn't mean same performance bro...an engine can be tuned differently for different cars..you see, alcazar diesel manual can keep up with tata safari pretty well in a drag race. But yes the diesel auto is a bit underpowered.

@@ssahoo5500 do you even know anything about engines? That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard bro. An engine can be tuned differently for different cars. The 1.5 engine is tuned differently than the creta in alcazarnto give a faster power delivery and a wider torque band.

This has better features than Creta.. a good value for money car.. the interior looks stunning.. the diesel engine is underpowered. Hyundai should provide another more powerful diesel engine option for this car.

Yes bro. I drive the Diesel Automatic Platinum 7 seater Alcazar. Diesel engine is underpowered. It takes 10 seconds to reach 0 to 100 in sports mode and 11 seconds in Comfort mode. Top speed I have attained till now in 1 month is only 176 kmph and then I had to slow down because of traffic ahead in Kolkata to Kolaghat highway. We need a more powerful diesel engine which can give us 0 to 100 in 5 to 6 seconds. Also with 5 adults, 1 golden retriever dog and lots of luggage I drove to Darjeeling without any problem.

Excellent review. Family and I love our petrol Alcazar with huge list of features. Feels super premium. My boys love the iPad tray, ambient lights and pano sun roof. Super smooth ride in city with enough power, but hey I'm in Bangalore so power is meaningless 😉 Mileage is about 8.5 - 12 in horrible Bengaluru traffic which is fine with me. Decent boot space which is bigger than Safari and XUV. 3rd row is just average. Best for my kids if adults sit in the second row.

No point in getting 6 seater if 2nd row seats are not ventilated. Ventilated seats are such amazing thing I feel mid variants should get front 2 and top variants should get 2nd row ventilated seats too. Just like Safari.

OG location has changed a lot

Only thing that I did not like is centre console. Top model of Alcazar should cone in 7 seat variant.

XUV 700 is more value for money compared to safari …. And it’s has more power too….I feel XUV is the best in the segment… but if u want more space and a proper 7 seater.. then safari is the best…

Although, Hyundai has tried well to cater the 7-seater buyers but the pricing is the factor where the Alcazar didn't positioned well.

I have same top end signature varient. It's good enough in power(if not drive enthusiastic) and easy to drive(you can drive with fingers). Great mileage compared to others in this segment. Alcazar disappointed me is road presence and last row only for kids/ below 5.3 height ppl but Hyundai targeted this model for youngsters/small family anyone (sister/wife) can drive easily with peace of mind. If you compared to MG think about resale and service. If they quit like Ford after some period then you need to suffer and I feel some lag in hector test drive and infotainment.

ADAS is only in higher trims of XUV700, which will cost you around 27-28Lakh Onroad, compare Alcazar with the same price range cars or equivalent variant of XUV700 which don't even give basic features , regarding safety it totally depends on you how you drive, if you drive rashly not even a 5 star car will be going to save you.Moreover waiting of XUV 700 of around 1 year

Hello Friend I AGREE features loaded in car. But apart from key and all. If Hyundai work on headlight it will be very good. Verna and i20 have better light than this Alkazar. The throw of light is really poor. HYUNDAI MUST THINK OVER THE SAME. PLEASE PROVIDE LIGHTS LIKE XUV700 OR BREEZA OR I20 OR VERNA OR ERTIGA OR XL6. I HAVE GIVEN OPTIONS. REST HIDDEN FEATURES ARE GOOD. BUT HIDDEN FEATURES WILL BE HELPFUL IF HEADLIGHTS GET IMPROVED.

I think the earlier innova used to come with just 100bhp nd 250 nm of torque nd it was an absolutely hit show in hills as well. This vechile has more power than that. Then why cant this be a hitshow in hilly regions?

Bcoz of the fwd...innova was rear wheel drive....even bolero with 70bhp is also a hit show in hilly areas....jst bcoz of rear wheel drive 😁
