Am I the only one that likes the contrast of the black interior with the white guts. I think it looks really nice and have started buying parts for a similar style build with the y70 touch. Happy building and stay blessed everyone 🙌

How the heck do you release the graphics card from the pcie riser cable? Do I need to lift or push down on the fishtail? I struggled getting my 4080 out yesterday to do some cable management.

So when you turn on the pc for the first time will it bring up that menu on that display screen? And will I have too click the same thing you did too get out of that menu?

As long as the CPU is below the top of the radiator, it's fine. There's no way air bubbles would make it to the pump.

I think he was asking about the GPU cooler, specifically because he didn't know where the pump was. If it's at the top where the lines go in the rad, he's gonna have some problems. But my guess is that is by the actual GPU just like most CPU coolers and he's fine.

The y60 is slightly smaller with the ability to replace the same panel with a touch screen. I'm not sure how much the two combined cost compared to the y70 though.

Your build isn’t helpful on installing the screen and where the SATA cable plugs into. horrible camera angles for most of the build.

Why install the m.2 in the 5.0 slot and bottleneck your GPU to 8 lanes?

From what I understand there isn't a GPU on the market that even uses 8 lanes.

The only reason I don't like the Hyte Y70, and the Y60 before it, is that the GPU MUST be mounted vertical. I'm just not a big fan of vertical mount GPUs.

There’s a kit to mount it horizontal. On Amazon. Don’t know if it would work for y70. Tho.

@@def-po8tu That's a very valid point. Mounting the GPU vertical will put less stress on the mobo without having to use a GPU support bracket. I would , personally, just rather use said bracket and mount my GPU horizontal. It all boils down to the builder's personal preference.

​@@edwardhood6252Part of my reluctance with the y60 was the lack of space between larger sized GPU's and the glass. Lucky for me though it seems they made more room for the 70.

40:55 they should be grateful the case is solid because that marketing is terrible. lol It's just as bad on the site

dude i cringed so hard when you rested that MB on the anti-static bag. you do know that those bags are CONDUCTIVE right? it's how they work, they're basically a faraday cage. so you get no functional use out of those bags when the MB is outside of them, worse, if the MB is resting on them they can short out the board when you plug them in. Please for the love of god, stop resting electronic equipment on top of anti-static bags!
