@@minkman99 I really hope that Dedede's good. His kit has a few good stuff such as his nair and gordo ledgetraps but his (lack of) mobility, bad hitboxes and slow frame data makes it that he can't utilize these tools to their full potential. Similar to most low tiers in Smash.

Bruh, some are sugarcoating this win using the phrase “low tier”. Dedede is no low tier, he’s a god damn bottom tier. The fact that Zaki beat arguably the best player competing right now is INSANE, especially considering that this matchup is most likely awful for Dedede. Good stuff to Zaki.

He has to beat Rags to get into top 32. And then most likely it would be aba or anti, and lima that he has to go through to get top 8. I'm pretty sure the DDD vs bayo mu is outrageously ugly, so it would be a hard road to top 8 for Zaki.

This is atleast a 70-30 matchup in cloud's favour LMAO. Let's go Zaki

TBH the matchup is. 70-30 in clouds father but the players are like 95-5 in MKLs favour

Zaki is absolutely GODLIKE. Honestly one of the craziest upsets and I knew he would do something good once he came to the US!

Let's take a moment to breathe and think about what just happened. MKLeo, one of the best players, using a top tier character, just lost to Zaki, who used Dedede, not only a bottom tier character, but one of the worsts.

This was the last great upset of Smash 4. Absolutely incredible effort from ZAKI.

Dude seeing the crowd chant Dedede straight up made me start crying.

Been a Dedede main since I bought Smash 4, and it's always satisfying beating top tier characters. Still, it is hard to imagine being on a big stage against a big player and coming out on top like this. This gives me pride in my hammer and gordos!

Dedede mains, like myself, had to wait 4 years until Ultimate to have a Dedede that’s accurately represented. But in that time, we still have insane sets like this. Good times.

I popped off way too hard my heart is still beating so fast.

LET"S GO!!!!!!! THANK YOU ZAKI FOR PUTTING US DEDEDE MAINS ON THE MAP!!!!! SO FREAKING HYPE!!!!

Seeing top players choke 7:3 MUs, more specifically contender for best player in the world vs a bottom tier user, tells me this game still has a ways to go before capping in both meta and skill. Very nice set.

We can talk about a lot of stuff but that Up B by Zaki at the end literally saved the match. He used the armor to not get spiked by part 2 of climb hazard.

10:20 props to backflip guy. Didn’t embarrass himself if he missed that landing

As a Dedede main, this had me shivering with anticipation. As he said, every moment Dedede grunted, my stomach lurched. It was an amazing match, and I'm glad to see another middle finger to the tier list as a bottom tier crashes a top tier to the floor in style.
