Keep it up there are many health benefits to no alcohol. Had a delicious nonalcoholic beer today was fine. What I do is fill in my focus 🧘‍♀️ with other things. Take a class. I do sword ⚔️ Hema. My wife started sewing. And lifting weights 🏋️ more. Not consistent yet keep trying. Takes time. Surrounding yourself with healthy people. Take dance 🕺 lessons!! Really!

I was almost 9 years sober and I blew it on the day I got married. 5 years later I'm divorced and lost it all. I helped many get clean in which til this day they are still clean. For the first time in 5 years I'm 10 days sober. I came across this video and it's definitely helping. Thank you. I wake up feeling more alive.

I thought I had won the battle, 4 years sober, my wife and I went for an anniversary meal and I though I can handle just 1 glass of wine, haven’t been sober since, that was 5 years ago, it’s a silent killer that stuff, I really want to get back out of the mouse trap..😭 I’m still so annoyed at myself..

Are you kidding me 😲 I have had an on and off again (more on than off) problem with alcohol abuse for 20 years. In July 2019 I started drink again, a LOT, due to a bunch of really bad events. Anywhere from10-20 drinks/day. It’s been bad. As of last week I was drinking 12-18 seltzer’s a day ( 🤢 ) as I quit my 1-2 magnums of wine ( double 🤢). Anyway...listened to this about last week...it’s 10 days later, and today I had 4 seltzer’s and not even wanting them, just to stave off withdrawals. Really amazing. I mean, I’ve been to rehab/detox more than 10 times in 20 years. I really don’t have much more to say than that. Truly, I am pretty amazed. THANKS THANKS THANKS! Thank you 🙏🌸

I was a year sober and had a relapse today. While I feel ashamed and heartbroken , I know that it means a higher power is testing me - to see if I fail and remain in my old ways. I will not. I will not allow my demons to control me, or make my life any less happy than I deserve. Sobriety is my serenity ❤

I listen to this everyday. I got the idea after reading Allen Carr’s “Easyway to Stop Drinking”. And although the book is more for people who never want to drink again, it helped me see alcohol for what it was: more of a poison than a passageway to fun. It really changed my perception of alcohol and why I drink. I went from drinking 6-8 strong beers every day of the week to having 3 beers during a weekday and 6 beers on Fridays and Saturday. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m happy with my progress. I seriously would be drunk during my classes everyday. And I’m glad those times are now behind me.

I listened to this 2091 nights ago. Haven’t touched a drop since and I was an alcohol dependant where drink had slowly taken over my life. I’m not putting it wholly down to this video, because how can i truly know but still it must have helped or played some role in ending my alcohol dependency. Hypnotherapy or not, you all have it in you to face a life without alcohol. Once upon a time I could never imagine a life without alcohol. Now I can securely and happily live a life without it. You can too. All is love ❤❤❤

Some more thoughts from my daily journal.. I attribute a large part of my success to Michael’s nighttime self hypnosis. If you are like me - a high functioning person with a crap relationship with alcohol - then you really should dedicate at least 10 to 15 mins a night at bedtime to this program. Latest journal entry - Aug 17 - no problem now. 15 Days in and everything just gets better. Skin, hair, whites of my eyes, sleep, energy, positivity, feeling present, calm, proud. I can’t believe I have spent the better half of 40 years in an alcohol cloud. To think what I have been able achieve running on low grade fuel and miss-firing… Well, I’m not looking back in regret - that’s all in the past and can’t be changed - only looking forward to wringing the neck of the rest of my life as a fully functioning, high achiever who will re-write the record books when it comes to ageing and success in the second half. Update - now 105 days without alcohol. No problems at all. I still listen one or two nights per week. Life is so much better without booze. I realise now that I am a different person in may ways. All for the better.

Then I tried listening to your hypnosis on an evening when I went to bed, & was amazed at the result!!! I no longer drink, don't crave, don't think about alcohol, don't fancy a drink, I,m not tempted whatsoever and can only put this down to your hypnosis. Whiteout sounding dramatic you have probably saved my life. The reasons I have sent this to you is one, I'm eternally grateful for this, & two so others can read this and hopefully use this amazing tool and do the same as I have. Thank you Michael.

Wow, Michael! This is perfect. One of my specialties is overcoming addiction. I believe that our addictions are a means, a maladaptive attempt, to cover up feelings of fear and guilt. I further believe that there are really only two emotions ... love and fear, of which guilt is a particularly pervasive and insideous form. There is either love or a call for love, and addictions are a call for love. Speaking as one who is working her own successful recovery from alcohol addiction, I especially appreciate that you recognise (I spelled it with and "s" just for you) the role hypnosis can play in recovery. I would only add that anyone who is truly addicted to alcohol should seek medical assistance before quitting. Alcohol withdrawal poses serious risk of heart failure and seizure, and should not be attempted alone. But it can be done! If you are an alcoholic let me tell you, there is a beautiful life on the other side of the bridge. Face your demons and they will disappear! Love, Peace, and Still Waters to you, Michael, and all whose lives you touch, Susan

I woke up at 4am after drinking alcohol , feeling fed up after quite a few failed attempts to stop for good . I have convinced myself that yesterday was the last day . I am going to listen to this video today before work . I would love to look back a year from now from this post and to say I did it.

I remember writing this when I was feeling really unwell after a night drinking . I remember I failed so many times to stop . I used to do a few weeks then I would fall off the wagon and then drink more than I would of done ok the first place ! I recently done some hypnosis sessions with a guy called Richard who helped we talked a lot about addictive behaviours and we focused on that in my sessions . I now only drink once a week and only have a small amount of alcohol mixed into a healthy lifestyle . I feel for the first time I have gained back control over this and feel great . I’m also really happy that I didn’t have to completely stop as o feel as though I would of lost our to the addiction . I also had addictions to other things it’s a behaviour . And if you can fix that you can fix many things in your life .

@@namastetyson6267 I haven’t drunk for a good while now and just would like to start off with saying the rewards and benefits are worth fighting for, i Beleive everyone has a magnificent version of their selfs that just needs to be unlocked . If I had told my self this a year or 2 ago I would of probably laughed and rolled my eyes . However it is the truth . For me drinking became a bit of coping mechanism whenever I would get stressed (mostly money was the center of a lot of stress ) I did actually under go some counseling which was great it actually helped me cope with a lot of my feelings . And taught me to only worry about the now and only focus on what u can control and change in that moment and not a bunch of other things which can end up causing anxiety and all that other negative energy which ultimately can lead to somone going back into their old habits. I have found since I have trained my brain to think in a different way I have managed to change my whole life rather than just quit the drinking . It is easier said than done though .

here's severaI ideas for stopping booze quickIy Try to eat food when you are drinking - this cuts down the amount you drink. Take a break from drinking. Keep track of how much you drink, then you know if you are cutting down. Set yourseIf goaIs - don't make them too difficuIt at first. Pick 1 or 2 days or every week when you wiII not drink at aII. Then, try to stop drinking for one week per month. (Reference: Adoette Drink PIan site).

alcoholism is one of the most dangerous diseases. the strange thing is alcohol is legal and most people who drink do not become alcoholics but a few do. genetics, tendency to drink more than usual, managing stress, stressful/ tough life events are some of the things that can lead a normal drinker towards alcoholism.

Ooook so I started drinking heavily 9 months ago when I ended a ten year relationship.... went from a personal to a half pint to a full pint everyday. A few days ago I decided I couldn't take the forever urge to drink and I remembered when I had wanted to stop smoking I did a hypnosis online that worked pretty great. So the first few days I tried not to drink on my own, absolute fail I considered on the second day going to aa which would be hard on my ego, I drank again. Last night after day drinking I decided it had to stop so I looked up a few vids and this was at the top. I followed instructions to the t and ended up falling asleep when it was almost over...i wasnt sleep before but i was resting and still hearing...this may be a little quick to assume something is working bc it took a few lessons with the smoking but guess who DID NOT DRINK today???? Me ...everytime I thought about getting even a small bottle I could hear myself say no you dont need to . Or if you get one you'll want more!!!! I'm going to listen again tonight. Thank you for this vid ❤❤❤
