HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless Review: A Massive Improvement!
Ойындар
Check out an early look review of the much anticipated Haste 2 wireless! For those Haste fans that were disappointed with the 3335 sensor in the previous model, you will be thrilled with the new HyperX 26K sensor! This time the TTC Gold switches are replaced with HyperX Brand 100 Million click-rated switches that feel and sound great! I was able to score an early copy off the HPStore on Ebay for $89. The listing has been pulled, sadly, so if you did not score one, you will have to wait until April. I will post links on where to buy the mouse once they become available and pass on any discount codes I find also.

The haste and now haste 2 are very underrated mice, they are really solid and HP is stepping up the game with their hyperx line.

the haste wired has the best cable on a wired mouse by far imo.
It's good to see an update on the Haste. I hope they also release a white version and that the final price remains as affordable as the original haste. Thanks for the review.

"A moment of silence", lol. I chuckled. Great review as always. I'll probably try this out once it's available. Thank you!
I really like your review style.. Subscribed man!
Just gotta say this man deserves much more subs and views. You are the go-to guy for mice buys. Already bought 2 mice that you recommended. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind words! I have a TON of mice reviews being worked on, with a ton more on the way. I am also trying to cover mice that a lot of people ignore. Hopefully, you follow me on Twitter as I am very active there and post a ton of news, pictures, and initial thoughts on many mice I have not reviewed yet.
Great review
You are the only reviewer who reviewed this mouse on KZread. Thank you for that. I use Haste 1. It was a mouse I was waiting for. I'm thinking about buying it while it's on sale. I love the shape of this mouse.

I'm using the wired haste 1 rn and I really like it the shape and size fits me really well I perform very well with it in games too this such a good mouse, especially for the price don't buy it at full price tho, hp always cuts the price substantially after a while

Yes, I mentioned in the review they often have good sales. There are also some discount codes floating around for HyperX I have used in the past that gave me as much as $15 off. If you are a fan of the Haste 1, then the Haste 2 is a must buy!
I also have pulsefire haste 1 wired no problem at all absolutely brilliant mouse. Also great detailed video, grow sky high bro, use some editing to make the video experience much more better.

Yea I have to get caught up on reviews as doing them the way I want takes too much time and I am like 15 reviews behind. If I catch up I will try to do things different. Also I have limited Space but that may change soon.
Here is how I use my mouse usually: I like to create 3 profiles, one default and two for my most played games, LoL and Civ6. I always use the same DPI and I remap the dpi button to "switch profile" and so I can cycle trough them 1 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 3.. Can I do that in the HyperX software? Thank you
do you plan on doing a video review on the smooth criminal mousepad? would be interesting to see how it compares to the saturn and especially the rawpad and also how it deals with moisture. anyway thanks for alle the reviews

Great review and mouse! I was wondering how light these clicks are compared to the ttc golds. You said they are still spammable but how spammable in comparison? Thanks!
@Gen3DTech

The clicks a not as light as the old Haste 1 with TTC Golds. It still feels like I can spam the buttons just as fast, though you just feel a little more feedback, and the sound is more audible. I find the clicks very satisfying.

Good info. Thank you. Same scroll-wheel is a deal breaker for me. I had/returned the wired version. Scroll-wheel steps too soft and scrolls too easily. The scroll-wheel itself was too narrow and tough to press causing accidental scroll-up or down when trying to ping.
@Gen3DTech
Жыл бұрын
Yes, the scroll wheel is the same for sure. Maybe they will fix it next time.
So you can finally adjust lift off distance? I love the haste but the only knock I had on it was the lift off distance but it that can be lowered then I'm gonna upgrade right away

haste 1 vs deathadder v2(I havent seen haste 2 or da v3 yet in my country)? my hand is 20cm x 10cm (palm grip)

With your hands the Deathadder is probably the better choice then.
Does this mouse module have doube-clicking issue bro? I'm using the Logitech g304 and it have had double click after a year. I'm curious if all mechanical-switch mouse has the same switch lifetime...
@Gen3DTech
Жыл бұрын
This mouse is rated for 100 million clicks. Most Mice start off with a 20 million click rating and that can go as high as 150m click. A lot of Logitech mice use 20 million click Omron switches.
the hardware is good in the price but software need more advance feature, such as hold button profile switching like easyshift/g-shift/hypershift. that is why those are the first tier choice when it come to actual usefulness, they also need non appx version

I liked the haste alot except for the grip width. If this mouse came out with a mini version, it would be an instant buy.
@Gen3DTech
Жыл бұрын
I agree; a mini would be amazing! I wish I had a better relationship with HyperX, but since HP owns them now, they really don't work with small reviewers like myself. I do a lot of stuff behind the scenes working with companies to try and create better products. My goals are not just to review mice to help consumers but to help push companies into making better products that we gamers want.

Thanks…I am pretty sure someone got in trouble for releasing the mouse early. I might try to put more humor in my videos as in person I crack a lot of jokes. I just tend to be very serious about tech related stuff especially since I work in IT and I have to be very professional on the job. A couple people also mentioned they enjoyed that part so I will see if I can slip more humor in here or there.
i be getting 1st haste in a 4 days, maybe i try it for a week and if like it i return it and wait for seconds version
I'd love to see Haste but a little bit thinner, like 5.7cm grip width instead of current 6.1 but any other dimension not changed.

Depends on your hands size. I would say the DAV3 is slightly better specs wise but is too big for me and the shake on the Haste2 is better I think. Haste2 is a better value for your money also.
Wouldn't get hung up on sensors. Most from the past 5 years + are better than any player out there.
I have one question does it drag click? If yes then how many cps? im minecraft player xD
@Gen3DTech

To be honest I have never been able to drag click any mouse, even ones that are suppose to be good at doing it. I have watched videos on how to do it and I must really suck, because I can’t seem to do it. So sadly I don’t know the answer to your question. I review mice mostly from a FPS perspective. You can set the denounce time down to 0ms and the buttons are very spam-able.

The borderline illegality of both of these reviews is so fucking funny to me 💀
@Gen3DTech
Жыл бұрын
Explain to me, with your vast knowledge of the legal system, how my review is not legal? I have not signed an NDA or even verbally agreed to anything with HP. I purchased a product legally from HP's own store on Ebay, and they actually sent me the product. It's not like they sent me a review unit that I agreed to not review until a certain date. I have never been sent a single thing from HyperX/HP and traded emails one time. In fact, I am just guessing some reviewers have units and that there is an embargo. Every reviewer I know did not get a review unit, and I know of at least 3 other reviewers who obtained this mouse the exact same way. As a consumer, you have every right to review a purchased product. Just because I make KZread videos does not give me any fewer rights as a consumer. I would love to know how you have come to the conclusion anything illegal has taken place. In my previous review a year ago, I simply ordered the mouse from their own website, and she shipped it out early to me. My house is only a few miles from the warehouse they were shipping everything out of, so I got the mouse the same day, which was a few days before that review embargo had lifted. I only know that because some larger reviewer told me. In both cases, the fault lies with HP/HyperX's logistics. Maybe their marketing team should coordinate better in the future. I get most of my review units for free, and I always abide by whatever they ask, even though most don't place any restrictions. I do that because I have a working relationship with those companies, and I am not having to pay for the product out of my pocket. If I have to buy a product, I am going to do whatever I want with it. Even though I was 99% I am good legally, I actually consulted Fresh Reviews who is also an attorney, and he said I was good to go. He also was able to buy one and will have a review out soon, and I look forward to seeing his thoughts on it.
