Try this: Right click on "set hs2 content location.exe" and click on "run as administrator

Had some problems with Hypersonic 1 ... I just added "Hypersonic" to Software/Steinberg and entered the new string value "Content Location" with the directory where it was located. Worked like a charm. Thanks, iszazial! :-)

Theoretically yes, for any VST that uses the windows registry to determine the location of the stored content, however, this issue only occurs because the VST installer would not function the way it is supposed to. So really to run into this kind of issue is kind of rare and for most other VST's.

How would you do this if hypersonic was installed on an external hard drive? I couldn't find the "Steinberg" folder as it shows on the video.

Allthough the 3rd string in regedit didn't exist on my laptop - I just used the find feature to lead me to hyper -all is working - many thanks!

Hey, you helped me with this a while ago, and I recently restored my computer to it's orignal state....so I put everything on an external hard drive, and when I went to put hypersonic back on and set its content location using reg edit...I couldnt find any folders in regedit that had hypersonic in it...there was no hypersonic in any of the mentioned folders. I don't know how to get it to show up.. I had it under downlaods, then I installed it, and moved the folder over to programsx86 help please

i deleted my previous post because I realized this was the wrong video I was posting on lol. Your actually right but I made this video as I make all videos as a universal fix all. The reason I had to make it this way is because even though I paid for my copy there are alot of people that have not, that reasoning leads to the issue that there are several different versions of hypersonic available atm and this is the only solution that should fix all.

This is in fact the reason why the problem is occuring. If you pause the video at just the right moment you cant actually create paths and strings you see in the video. It may actually just be easier to uninstall and reinstall the program and double check as outlined in this video

wrecked my head all night on this, even went into the registery, problem was not entering the 2 backslash thing and forward slash at the end. 0n3

u rock man. worked perfectly although i had to bridge mine. please help every time i play my midi controller the virtual keyboard freezes.I mean like if i press a key for a second it will play for about 2 seconds please help.

i found out that if u run the app, that direct the hypersonic to its content, as an administrator it works and you dont have to do all that i actually found the folder there is 2 node folders the second contains the content i was looking for when i found it the content was already there
