The party finder issue was so annoying, but i used my hype to get my term because i didnt want to spend like 400m on 200 eman carries. I ended up grinding to 1k floor comps, and dropping so many drops my RNG has been drained

Its utterly insane how much one weapon gatekeeps you in this a game. If you don't have a hype don't expect to get too far into crimson isle/kuudra/dungeon or anything higher lvl combat related. Hype either needs a massive nerf or they should introduce weapons of similar power for archer and melee.

hype getting a massive nerf just doesn't make sense though. It's the best mage weapon while being unusable in master mode. I do agree that they should introduce new weapons.

I don't think Hyperion is the issue, rather mana pool/mana regen, gdrag, aurora and all the other buffs to mage. If you compare the weapons at other "stages" of the game or other price ranges, you will find that (for example) the fire veil wand does way more dps than a livid dagger/shadow fury or juju could ever do, using equippment of the same price range. Previously mage used to be garbage outside of dungeons and melee was the only way to go. Balancing has always been crazy good in Skyblock!

Got my hyperion yesterday and it really helps so much. Feels like I deal like 20x my dps lol

Buying either hype or term is situational for your progression. For people that do mostly not into mm dungeon, hyperion is a popular choice cuz it open gateway to vast majority of the other content like kuudra up to t4, slayers and things like that that also pushes your networth up for the requirement of the terminator. For the people that are more focused into dungeon, terminator will be a decent choice, but they will end up being stuck into dungeons and can do barely anything else due to the nature of low income from dungeons comparing to other stuffs, which requires external income sources out of combat situations. In short, knowing what you gonna do well enough will help you make your choice

i wanted to get a term first, but then realized, i pretty much need a hype to get a term in under 3 years of grinding voigloom

The term itself isnt 100% of the cost, you need like pretty good mp which isnt cheap and gdrag or edrag

You need talismans to do damage it’s like saying ya need armor yeah ya do, both the hype and term both need good mp, and he gdrag/edrag is something you can go without for a while.

I will add my own thing for the Hype being the key to open the gate in the crimson isles. A juju or term with explosive arrows is actually viable (not good) but an option in the crimson isles, as I personally got to burning tier Kuudra and could still grind out most stuff and do all the minibosses all just with a juju and term works a bit better than juju in that regard as well so realistically if you can stand doing it without a hype its very possible

The de-terminator and hype-heirion are the best weapons in the game right?

Only thing I would argue is that you dont need a term in kuudra up until t4. Usually with a decent party you can get away up to t3 just doing cc if you have hyp, yeti sword or midas staff. Fiery tho you should really have a term by then

@@GURGLENUTS when i do burning its usually 2 people doing dps to kuudra, one guy without a term doing stun and one clearing mobs still. For burning you only really need 2 people damaging kuudra, 1 if hes really good

You forgot about the part where you need like 850mp and an edrag or gdrag pet to actually use a term so the price is a lot more ever

nah you don't need edrag, gdrag is inevitable too, everyone has to get one eventually. however with frozen blaze/blaze you do comparable damage to edrag necron. but eventually you need gdrag no matter what you do in skyblock, if it's combat related, you need gdrag

also mastiff wish helps alot in mm if people struggle to survive in like m5 or higher

hyp should be gotten first no matter what cuz term will help a ton with dungeons but its not needed for f7 and only helps a bit but hyp makes eman wayyy easier

giants sword will do 2-3x more damage, but costs 2x more xd

went for my hype first got it 4 days ago, didnt even have storm yet so i grinded it right after then now that i got a rcm setup with a sheep w/ shelmet, i plan on doing eman then getting a juju for the time being and doing like f7 or hot or burning tier kuudra

Only thing that sucks is how annoying it is to level up until you can lava fish

I think the hype is just not in everyones budget and the term is. And getting eman 7 is very hard but more enjoyable than grinding money for like 100h

I find a large issue with this comparison is that a SCROLLED hyperion costs around 1.8b bc of scrolls being roughly 330m each +the actual hyperion the comparison of their prices are a tad skewed

you can get hyperion, do a bunch of kuudra t2 for money, get mp, and rcm enderman slayer

i just bought a claymore so i can bers in master mode :P just gonna get my cata up higher since I'm too poor to afford a 2b sword

i got a hype before term only took sven 9, rev 9, tara 9 and cata 36 (so much grinding T_T)

hype also gatekeeps diana to some extent, there’s a lot of small things that aren’t necessarily essential for progression that hype gatekeeps, you lose so much ability to have fun without hype, because you don’t really have options without the hype

having a term with low mp and bad pets is as bad as a hyp with no scrolls imo they are around the same price for that reason

fun fact you need Catacombs Lvl 27 to use the Term in Dungeons xD

you need hyp for mm as well as term so hyp is both better but should always be went for 1st there is literally nothing term does that doesn't also require hyp with the exception of dragons and magma cube boss

​@@p.hammernick5277 shield is really good for healing and clearing and you use it constantly in MM so you don't die, for basically all floors, bcuz without shield its rly hard to clear quickly without having to slow down and heal constantly or dying a lot. and also hyp for f7 'till you have a good cata for M3.

Here. If you are gonna do dungeons/master mode, get term first. If you are planning to stay out of that and maybe do kuudra, get hype first.

5:53 DO NOT EVER buy carries for eman t7. It will hurt your progression very bad because if you can't do the slayer yourself, then you are not strong enough to use terminator (use it to full potential). I myself thought that buying a terminator at 900m nw and buying carries was a great idea. It was not, because i could have just kept my juju and got like 1300mp, which would be far better than having a term with 700mp. Additionally, i sometimes get kicked from higher floor parties because i have lower level skills and obvious signs of being undergeared to use my term.

To me, the terminator is way better than Hyperion. As someone without a Hyperion myself, I’m level 346, and have no problem doing m6, t5 kuudra, really anything end game. I also know a few other end game people with no Hyperion but own a terminator. A term is completely mandatory for end game and dealing real damage, while a Hyperion is just an expensive florid zombie sword that might help you spawn your little t2 eman a bit faster

Hyperion is also a door opening factor for Master Mode, because you need the healing from the hyp. You can't really play mm without one

hype isn't needed for f7, unless you're playing mage there's no reason to really have one, a decent juju or term arch, or a good bers will do more dps than somebody who liquidated 90% of their nw for a hype

the point of hype is to clear quick.. ofc a good bers/arch is gonna have more dps but hypem even with trash gear will clear way faster if they dont die

also technically yes spirit sceptre is marginally better than hype for CLEAR ONLY. But you have to actually be good at the game to use sceptre and have it be faster, because the bats follow your cursor, so you have to be able to balance where the bats go with moving most efficiently

the only two things term is useful for in dungeons and kuudra tbh nothing else BUT term is more essential than hyperion since everything you can do with a hyp melee does almost better (depending on your skill) if you are planningg on doing a lot of kuudra and dungeons then just get term otherwise i would say get hhyperion

The two things you listed are the only use for term. Hype is universal and is way better than melee for 90% of things and even makes the crimson isle child’s play
