These cars are so cool, lap time wise how do they compare to things like F3? Radical sr3/8?

They are more or less competitive with the 4 Cylinder F3 cars from the 2010s, if I, in my Hyper Racer, qualified at the recent Formula 3 round at Winton, I would have been 5th out of 13 or however many cars they had. Same with Radical SR3s, depending on the day or the driver and which track you’re at it’s more or less the same. We make a LOT more aero drag than both an F3 and a radical so we suffer on the higher speed tracks. An SR8 however just has so much more power than us we would definitely struggle to keep up in a Hyper Racer.

We never found the issue, ruined the whole weekend. Everyone’s scratching their heads now, time to pull it properly apart at the factory, change more parts, have the loom inspected, see what happens…
