Thanks and appreciation go to Hyosung for lending me the Aquila 300 and helping me pass a personal milestone. It was a fun little toy to play with over Christmas.

You've answered some of the questions I had about these bikes, but also raised a few as well. I thank you for the time and effort you have put into this review and have found your research matching your honesty. Very much appreciated.
I just had the 125cc version for the weekend in Spain and I gotta say even at 6foot 3 or 190cm it’s totally fine and I’m all legs
Why does every tester assume that a middle aged fully licensed biker will not be interested in having such a bike as his/her only one?
Dude; these videos are honestly phenomenal and I've been binge watching them all. Great shots, great work, wonderful job on the angles, beauty shots, b-roll, editing and overall review too! I hope you can get your hands on more bikes!
You are a slick presenter Tim, hope you get to do more.👍
They contacted you to offer a bike for review that's positive, hope you get more offers like this *fingers crossed*
Looks like a cool little bike 👍
Cool looking bike
It might be a fit if you like the styling and want to start riding as a young'un. I do think it might be a bike to keep for low-mileage in "style" because I don't see them holding value. A tough call. Nice that you got this for a review.
I have the GV 250 from 2007, i only complaints i have are 1: getting in to neutral, but i have that issue with my suzuki V-strom 650 and funnily enough both engines and gearboxes are designed by Hyosung lol. And 2: the chrome ( lots of it on the GV250) has started rusting, and having owned 2 of these, that seems to be a very common issue. I live in New Zealand and the winters are very wet, depending on where you live they can get very cold ( down to as little as -10⁰C) I have never had a single issue with the bike starting (and its carbureted ). I have never had an issue with the breaks nor have i had any issues of any kind with any of the working parts. My bike is now 15yrs old. Remember Hyosung made suzukis under licence and designed a bunch of their engines from 1978 to 2003, so they know how to make a bike. I do wish they would bing the fit and finish to more of a royal enfield standard on their bikes though. But, in saying that, on mine 15yrs down the track, everything still works like it did from new!

The link is my review of the 250 if you want to look
I think this is a good alternative to a Rebel 500 and with a cheeky exhaust it would probably sound better. The looks remind me of a HD 883

No its not, get a Rebel 500, its better supported, more reliable and when its time to sell it you will find several buyers. Unless you live in India or South Korea I strong suggest you avoid Hyosung. I had one and regretted it.
The model should be GV300S. I think you should put it back to the title to increase the views
I have a 250 cruiser and I can ride 300 miles no problem with it. 80 plus to the gal.
How much can u drive? Can u drive on the highway?
They only sell scooters in the USA, I see them advertised by "dealers" (guys with garage full of them). I also see they don't hold their value in the aftermarket.
what is v max?

Disposable, like a bic lighter. No disposables in my lifestyle. I refill my zippo lighter to light my camels & keep my cigars lit. But in all honesty, if it has 2 wheels & a motor, it's OK by me!
OH, Aquila. I thought I read Aprilia! Not for me, after owning probably 50 bikes over the past 57 years. I only do Cool! And I don't do abs or traction control.
Hyosung, never again.....

@@passthataxe Once owned a 2007 Hyosung GT 650 R, it was my first bike, I'll summarize: Pros: - Looked Good - Was cheap Con: - Build like crap (Instrument had electric issues and sometimes gives off obviously wrong readings, fails to start occasionally, oil glass was frail enough for a simple poke with the finger was enough to knock inside the engine, causing oil leak, gearing was very rough) - Performance was OK but crap compared to its competitors (72Hp and 60NM, not bad for a beginner bike but pretty pathetic for a sport bike) - Terribly Unreliable - I spent about the same amount of money maintaining (more like fixing) the bike (and the the stupid thing died on me when it came to selling it, forcing me to drastically reduce the price) - Utter lack of support in not only my country (Austria) but also almost all of Europe and support from Hyosung themselves was sketchy as well as expensive due to import. - Resale value is utter rubbish even if it was in mint condition This comes with the bike being cheap I guess but even then its just not worth it, seriously avoid Hyosung, If you want cheap get a Japanese bike with small cc (like a Yamaha MT03), you may pay a little more but you can depend on it, learn well on them, get spare parts easily anywhere and sell them for a good return in investment and use that money to get a more premium bike, with Hyosung you are literally throwing money down the drain.

@@slakk5093 what's the story?
Can t deny the big brands get more and more expensive. So the brakes were the only thing the could be a downside, and they re fine. Very well , so bye bye Japan you had t coming, and you re never gonna sell the Lancer although its a nice try at imitating Alfa..
