yeah Hyolyn is what u would call a five tool player in Baseball she can do everything and is to alot of people a top 10 even top 5 in the kpop industry in both Vocals and Dance and the fact that shes competed in shows like Unpretty Rapstar which is a korean Rap competition show where big artists from the kpop industry compete in rap battles until only 1 is left standing Hyolyn won that show and went up against some of the best rappers in the industry many of whom r only straight rappers basically she can do anything

While Hyolyn is all of these fyreeee and amazing things she’s also one of the k idols who has to struggle with her country’s backlash towards her due to her music videos and songs. There are a few “controversial idols” like her, Jessi, Hyuna, Hawsa who are known to be the very “explicit” and opposing to many of Korea’s standards and norms and that’s why they each have so much international clout because people love how bold and unafraid they are. Hyolyn performed this same song in front of a Korean audience and when I say the audience was staring in pin drop silence….literally just eye balls and untouched faces. Only a few smiles but the majority were very still and didn’t know what or how to react….it was a video that comes off either alarming or funny to many people till this day. Lol I love the controversial idols idc 💗
