Never thought I'd see a speedrun of an RPG that doesn't appear to be super luck reliant Then again this IS one of the few RPGs out there that doesn't rely on grinding and leveling up, so of all the games to speedrun this one makes sense

If you want the best possible time, Hylics is pretty luck-reliant, unfortunately. Horrid Projection/Clawman fights are especially coinflip-y, and there's loads of little things that can trip you up. No grinding is very nice, though

I love the way how they walk.

It's such a nice way to... never have to deal with finding paper cups. There're only 6 water coolers in the whole game, and I personally nabbed some nine-odd cups out of that hole!

​@@neonmaulerr apparently, according to TV Tropes, this thing where Dedusmuln camps over the thing he's looking for is a bit of a thing for him. Tl;dr, in the second game, apparently there's a Cabinet beneath his tent. Don't ask me how, I haven't got the chance to check it out myself.

The main thing that helps me is picturing what the menus look like before the turn starts. That's why I clear my inventory before Clawman even though it wastes a tiny bit of time: so I know that the only thing in my inventory at the Gibby fight is Hot Dogs. And thanks

I wonder if the Horrid Projection is like an astral projection of Gibby or something. They both seem to be things resting on a chair, and the "horns" of the projection resemble the back of his throne.

Wow. Seeing that Horrid Projection fight was crazy. In the playthrough I’m doing on my channel I got clapped repeatedly, so great job!!

My play time on steam is 133 hours, but there was a few months where I didn't play so some of that play time was relearning the game.

I just got softlocked in this game. I died and teleported to my house, my airship is in a place that i can’t access from there and so is my boat and the summoning tower by the house doesn’t work. It says ”summon airship?” I say ”yes”. It plays the visual effect of the ship warping but nothing happens, the ship doesn’t move. I’ve killed all enemies in that area so i can’t die from those, and I have the red party member guy so i can’t die from the red skulls either. What do i do?

The airship does move, but it places on the base in pongorma's island (Sorry if my english is bad)

Mt. Snatinex sounds cool. Works with the 'Bad' City, which is Snatloonpothex, which sounds even cooler!

Because of how rpgmaker works it's just a giant sprite but if has the same hitbox as every other enemy in the game

If you mean getting in front of the guard so you don't have to trail behind him: The first time I enter the room on a fresh save, there's a bit of lag, or the party loads in a tiny bit later or something, which prevents me from doing it. You can do it if you save and load, but that ends up taking longer.
