For Choi Taek, Deoksun has always been his home. He treats Deoksun like a place of rest and comfort. That's the kind of love we all deserve. Someone we can find comfort with at all times, through the highs and lows.

At First I was hesitating to watch it cause the setting was looking pretty much old...But after giving it a watch this came out to be a drama that people will cherish in their hearts forever...The most precious thing about Reply 1988 is its portrayal of neighborhood & friendship..And that serene picture of love & bond between humans which I captured in this series will continue to stay in my heart just because I gave it a try.. Sometimes you need to give something a try that you feel prejudiced against cause You never know,,may be that thing will come out like best for you...

Она действительно запала в сердце. Замечательная дорама. Актёрский состав великолепен. Кстати это дебют Пак Бо Гома, и весьма успешный. Через год повторно пересмотрела дораму. Начала её смотреть как поклонница Пак Бо Гома. Не думала что такой сюжет захватит,но потом смотрела не могла остановится. Спасибо режисëрам и сценаристам за этот шедевр. И естественно отдельное спасибо актёрам за великолепную игру. Это полное погружение с главными героями в их жизнь

To all the disappointed folks who didn't make sense how did they end up together, I just want to remind you that even tho we are all aware of the Second ML's feelings, *he never showed it to her.* I have someone like that in my life. Everyone is aware of his feelings and I don't understand why they are pairing us up together. When in fact, I don't remember us talking. And then he moved on to another woman and I was left pitied because I was supposedly rejected. When I learned it all, I was shocked. I don't know how to react because I don't even know he liked me. But in everyone's eyes, I was rejected. People who are more straightforward are very much preferred than someone who makes the other feel clueless of what he feels.

exactly, him loving u does not matter if u dont FEEL loved. i really dont know how so many ppl cant understand that, no wonder so many people end up dating the wrong person 💀Taek was from the start transparent bout his feelings, when the friends asked him he told them straight up that he likes her, while the other guy was a little embarassed to tell them how he feels. Also even tho Taek was shy and quiet, he was very loud to express his feelings. for him, deokseon was his home, with her, he was at peace and we can see that multiple times in the series even before he expressed his feelings.

Wholesome drama about life. It may never go 100% in your favour, but with family support and good friends, we can navigate though life.

During watching Reply 1988 the cast Taek(Bogummy) has spelled all over me is not gonna cure anytime soon..In series,, all his intense gaze gives "Tsunami" in my heart...I think I really fell for his innocent face with an earth shattering charm....

Same. When it was first out, almost all my friend was crazy over tsundere junghwan but me. Choi taek just gave me different kind of male character, made me curious, n his development tho. Especially the one who really need deoksun is taek. Without her he doesn't really have a life

Iconic Kdrama . . Hyeri stole my heart in this drama.

I absolutely love 💗 this Kdrama. It’s both nostalgic and amazing. This will be one of the best for me. I didn’t even realize who the actors were but I love each character. I’m a person of Faith and it’s nice to know he is too. Thank you 🙏🏽

Just finished this series yesterday. It's my all time favorite.

J’aime beaucoup cet acteur. Il était plus jeune ici. Je l’ai déjà vu dans deux autres séries. Mais celle que j’ai préféré c’est : ”Encounter”. Il a un sourire chaleureux et le regard de quelqu’un de gentil. Il est très mignon. En plus, il chante de la douceur. J’aimerais le voir jouer un peu plus souvent dans des séries car c’est un excellent acteur. A un autre jour. ❤
