We have had the pleasure of installing a stainless steel hydrotherapy pool to allow Maisie to have hydrotherapy treatment at home.
Maisie has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, causing involuntary movement and retracting muscles. She also requires PEG tube feeding for balancing her food and medical intake, so bacteria control is key.
By installing a stainless steel pool in her home, hydrotherapy treatment is helping to relax her muscles, as well as helping Maisie’s ability to respond with her occupational therapist and head physio.
Using a stainless steel hydrotherapy pool also enhances infection prevention for Maisie as its smooth, completely intact surface eliminates any potential nooks or crannies where bacteria can harbour.
