HYDROS PRO: Packing a complete dive set in a "carry on" backpack
Спорт
The ability to now travel with your complete dive bag in an overhead compartment changes everything. Watch as Rhys Couzyn packs an entire dive kit into the "carry-on" sized backpack dive bag included with the HYDROS PRO.

Wish the bag had a couple of pockets on outside.
I think you have forgotten the diving boots :-)

Also the octopus. Who dives without an octopus?

I wish the bag was a bit bigger as I can’t fit my kit in there now, never mind my 7mm and boots. Having said that, I bought the BCD for its quality not the bag it comes in.
Airport lady placing your "carry on" backpack in the trolley size checker.... "Sorry Sir, this is too big, it needs to be checked!" 🤣 Now your vacation begins with your entire gear leaving you, and still you don't have your entire dive setup
What size BCD is being used? I have a large and it doesn't fit anything else
where are the boots?

lol. Just leave them in the fin foot pocket and secure them tightly with the straps.
This only works if you have the small BC, a child’s size 5mm, very small regs. I have a Large Hydros Pro, an XL 5mm, MK25 EVO, S600, R195 octo and they didn’t fit. I’m packing exactly as he is and I’m like, WTF how does his look so small in the bag. Must be all small sizes he’s packing. My large BC barely squeezes in from top to bottom and is very tight and stretching the bag. Should send out larger bags for the larger BCs.

I have a medium HP, an Aqualung Legend Regulator (and Octo), a 3mm Shortie, Mares Avante Quatro fins and booties and I"m able to fit it all in. It's tight but it works. It's heavy, too, so you don't really want to hike that far with it!.

I have the XL, and pack mine like this, plus DSMB and compass with just a little effort minus the wetsuit.

I have the large HydrosPro w/ Air 2, Mk25/A700. Fits my boots, snorkel, mask box, & light too. My Hydros does not fit sideways as in the video. This is my carry-on on the plane. I use a rash guard and scuba shorts and my fins in the check luggage. Wonder if your bag is slightly smaller.
Where can I get those neon green novas? I have the yellow but wow those are bright, never seen them.
Now my question is how much does it weigh in at?
Whenever I travel, I just pack my regulator system and my bcd in the backpack along with my dive boots. But I put the rest of it in a bigger suitcase.
I tried packing my gear as in the video. What a joke. Couldn’t get it zipped and I think it’s a bit too heavy for me to drag around the airport. Probably would do better to pack everything but the BC in the backpack.
I packed the bcd, wetsuits 5mm, mask, GoPro, computer and boots into this 😅
DID YOU FORGAT BOOTS ????
I didn’t see a dive knife. Tony
Good Video but I know I would never put in my mask in like that. It is far too important for me to travel with out a hard case for the mask.I just know some inconsiderate idiot will slam his oversize hardbag into it.I carry my mask and computer seperate for that reason.

num1cheechwizard place the mask and computer inside the wetsuit then roll up the wetsuit around it. Provides great protection. The thing i would never do like this is put my reg/octo in there thats the important one
he looked stressed out trying to fit everything in
Pack ur wetsuit with regular luggage. And put the mask in a case.

This is what I do. I can get my wetsuit in the backpack but have only done that to get my gear from my hotel room to the dive shop. When I actually travel, I pack my BCD, regulator, mask (in a soft case), swimsuit, rash guard, and a change of clothe into the backpack as a carry on. That way I keep the stuff that I can't (or don't want to) buy, borrow, rent on my trip on my person. But I do have to check a bag for the fins so wetsuits, save a dive/replacement part bag, more clothes, spare mask, etc... go in there. But it's still heavy!
no octopus on the regulator

look at the power inflator hose... Air 2 on the bcd
would anybody seriously compress their mask, snorkel and regulator like that to deform everything I know I wouldn't!!
No SPG , no octopus , weight itself ,
just take what you want from it and people need to stop being so critical...not perfect but gives ideas.

Yeah like for the boots that every one is complaining I tie them in their bag on the top strap easy as that.

@@johnnykapnissis5378 shoot, without a 5mm they fit in the bag. I usually do not dive anywhere cold enough to need more than a shorty.
The whole point of watching the video was to see how the bc was folded up, which they totally missed the mark on. Try again scuba pro

there was a different video for that.
Please don't store your mask like this!!!
No, gloves, no boots…… and who just jams their mask in a bag??
