Fodder is exactly what most wild animals are looking for when foraging. Young, fresh, tender greens that are in loose soil. Its really no different than bean sprouts. My wife and I want to build a system very similar to this but a much smaller scale. I would be happy with 2 small trays per day. Seeing these animals going crazy over it is awesome though. I like that their barn is so clean. And the animals seem so happy.

Barley fodder is rich in nutrients, providing a good source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. It contains essential nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and vitamins A, B, and E. Additionally, barley fodder is high in chlorophyll, which offers various health benefits. It's commonly used as feed for livestock due to its nutritional content and ability to promote healthy growth and development. On average, barley fodder typically contains around 12-20% protein by dry weight.

İyi de sen bunu böyle yapınca o oyun içindeki protein değeri çok düştü, hayvanlar aslında arpa yiyip protein almak yerine su içiyor gibi düşünün.

1 kilo of seed becomes 7 kilos of water inside 1 kilo of plant? Is that better? Why?

🌱 Animals can not digest all of the nutrition, in dry grains or seeds. Sprouting grains and seeds increases the nutritional value, and makes them easier to digest. Meaning people can save money on feeding their animals, and feed them healthier food

Perhaps he means 6 meters, which would be a tiny fraction over 20 feet. He does use kilos as opposed to lbs, so it would make sense. Also looks about right.

@@TheRainHarvester the husk is mostly cellulose, hardly nutritious and you can also feed the husks with the grains to the animals instead. I think it does make sense economically because the feeds bulked up so less grains are needed.

Is the weight gain just water weight? Or is that dry weight? I'm sure some intake of nutrients happens, but it uses up some of the energy contained in the seed. So I'm guessing less of some fats right?
That aren't even barley... Paddy rice perhaps
all ya need now thin metal in a grid pattern to cut it quickly so you dont gott rip it up.... minimize your effort.... you will be fat as hell in no time (i mean that in a good way)
