I grow cherry tomatoes from seed for the first time, but I am hit by an accident that a pest (spider mites) occurs in large numbers along the way. I didn't know where the spider mites came from, so I washed them off with tap water to get rid of them. I thought about it later, but it might have been better to pull out the roots and wash them instead of cutting the stems (^^;…
Spider mites are insect pests that parasitize plants, even among spiders. It tends to occur during the growing season of many plants, multiplying explosively and causing damage to plants. It prefers a dry environment in the middle of summer between 20 and 35 degrees Celsius.
As a prevention method, it is said that it is good to frequently spray water on the front and back of the leaves or spray a mite agent.
