Your arugula looks great! For the hole cutting I do pretty much the same thing, except I go in reverse the entire time instead of clockwise. It takes a little while but eventually melts through with the friction and makes a super clean cut and never cracks.

Hey a cool little trick I is learned try using a copper fitting or anything copper inside the bucket to help sterilize the algae away

Hello Khang! I am very happy to see your video this morning! Yes I will follow your steps exactly and see if the plants will grow better. While waiting for your arugula video to be posted, I had started and the plants take so long to grow... may be a lack of light as here the temperature is just above 0 to 5 degrees... I notice you use the grow light so how many hours should it be on? I leave the pots by the windows to catch as much as possible the sunlight but sometimes it... still does not survive! Do you need to sterilize or ph-balance the rockwool at all? I've had problems with seeds never sprouting Im gonna try this!

Yes it is, it will start to bold when its superhot in summer, but you can grow it almost all year round. Also, you have "wild arugula" which is more resistant to bolting it has a little bit harder leaves and a stronger taste than "normal arugula", but i really like it. For me normal arugula had white flowers and wild arugula had yellow flowers. I live in france, and thats how the varieties were called in our garden center.

I keep watching, but I can’t get any salad greens to grow. Maybe too hot in my climate zone.

They should still grow, but maybe go to seed that bit quicker than in a cooler environment. NB heat over here is not something we experience that often ☀️

I have a hard time growing salad greens outside here. Too hot most of the time, and too cold the rest of the time. I have a couple plants outside right now and they are already going to seed at the beginning of spring. So what I do to keep a supply of lettuce inside, is grow them in mini-kratky systems like Kang does. Indoor greens are softer feeling and tasting than my outdoor ones. I still do let sprouting outdoor lettuce grow but the indoor ones survive much longer. I need to do arugula. They are like weeds outside, but way too tough and spicy. I like my arugula milder and more tender, so growing indoors seems like a good option.
