I didn’t even know what cloud wheels were but I think I need them now. I’ve been looking for something that could handle a little bit of grass or large bumps

I got cloudwheels on one of mr Eskates. And I loved them for a few minutes. But they stick, totally stick. Now I’m no power slider, I don’t want slide, but there is a noticeable difference between eurothane’s slight give, and cloudwheels completely stuck in place feel. (when cloudwheels do let go…it’s really sketchy) It made carving such a cold-dead experience that I switched back within a day or two.

Which hub motor kit? 615 cloud wheel kit fits the sportster? What about the cloud wheel rover wheel? Any of that style wheel fit the sportster?

Is there a video on how to change the wheels?

This is a great video. I’m very curious how the board performs off-road with cloud wheels? Mainly grass, gravel and maybe some well manicured trails.

They are 120mm and have some edges to grip the uneven surfaces. they handle well manicured trails better than the normal urethane wheels for sure.

@@bustinboards thank you for the response! These cloud wheels look to be pretty well received by the eskate community. My sportster should ship by the end of this month so I’ll start saving my pennies for a set 😁

Have they improved since having issues with the wheel internals failing? With a small contact patch, how does the grip compare to something like your 105mm wheels?
