Great episode! One of my favorites is the QE 2 episode and she is constantly changing outfits! Poor Richard being in charge of all that luggage!

It cuts off the best part where the missionary. Where he says, "I only had to take my shoes off one other time and that was a mosque, in the end the sermon was shorter." Hyacinth really does love the sound of her own voice.

Its funny because i think we know someone in our life who can be like Hyacinth Bucket. Patricia pulled off a perfect execution of a character that we all knew but still put up with. Love re watching them again.

He was hilarious, it's shame he wasn't on the show more (succeeded by less endearing one-offs like the Commodore and Mr. Farrini - "She's attractive in a weird sort of way"). I can see, though, how the showrunners might have thought that joke was wearing thin. And even delusional Hyacinth couldn't risk her standing on his continual advances, whatever his pedigree.
I always died when she made people take off their shoes

This show so reminds me of my late Nan, she even said to me once "I wish I was called Lady." Oh she had expensive taste and foods. One thing she never got to see become is enrol into medical school which she would of called a big bragging with circle of fiends and she would of been proud me with that kind of study.
