What a terrific actress she is..
If I was Richard, I would ask Onslow and the sisters to get rid of Hyacinth instead of the suite.
I wish young Hyacinth had been picked up because her social climbing started when she was younger, she tried to be posh, she worked as a maid, but she tried to copy the mannerisms of her employers. Daisy was the sensible one, Rose was a flirt, (as per usual) ,Violet didn’t seem to have a set personality but she did have a office job and Daddy was just a drunk, even though every time he would fall over in a drunken stupor Hyacinth would insist “It was his war wound and they left the shrapnel in” the parents were divorced ,the Mom ran off with a salesman, though Hyacinth tells everyone that she was killed in the Blitz. They only showed the pilot because no stations picked the series up which was too bad because it was very good.
