Sounds good. Turning the "High Cut" Parameter on the Cab Block to about 5kHz, to match the actual Frequency Response Chart of most real Guitar Speakers will help get rid the harsh, fizzy, trebly tones. That's what I did on my HX Stomp, and it made all the difference I needed.

The Amp Academy always has a little bit more sparkly high ends compared to the HX Stomp.

No, I used to use IR for everything. But after these cab settings, I feel like IRs are not necessary for the HX stomp. Try it yourself.
