It's nice seeing this video bc you're not winning hard and it shows that even in challenger you can get pressed on lane and its "alright". I'm playing normal games to learn mid and idk matchups, how much I can trade or when and sometimes I'm 0/0 but the other midlane ends up having a bit more impact than me and I get roasted for that when my acc is Lvl 20 and matchmaking is putting me against Lvl 300+ Emeralds, that makes me feel so incompentet and not want to play. Nice video, just wanted to vent a lil.

if you truly are consistently matched vs emeralds as a new player, consider getting a new account. cuz it could mean that your current account has plat (emerald) elo from your early wins. While it's pretty easy for you to have a losing streak and your account elo will then adjust, you cannot realistically have a winning streak back for when you eventually have learned the game -- especially if you decide to play a good amount every day and end up learning the game quickly. So after dropping your account elo, it wont catch back up for you to continue your learning. At that point, a plat elo account will be very useful. For now, your new account may be placed in a more suitable elo.

So fitting that the kill on Jhin that won the game also completed the Secondary Quest by killing Jhin with ult

out of curiosity mr pekin, why do you not use root on Hwei against irelia more? You seem to rely heavily on fear, when wouldn't it be easier to catch her if you stuck your E-W onto the back or frontline of minions? deny her cs or force a good trade during laning phase?

If I had to guess it might just be hard to time it in the window that it will actually root, like maybe she can kill the minions from high enough HP that the time between the start of her kill range and the minion dying on its own is bigger than the root window. Or it’s just habit because the fear feels like the default E ability when you aren’t using the jaws into rift to land passive.

Irelia can shove wave fast and EW doesn't affect the wave, also having E on CD just because you want to "zone" makes you vulnerable to get jumped on. So he tries to hold for EQ in case she goes all in on him. And sometimes EE to adjust or push the wave.

@@CalaTec I mean it’s good to check bushes instead of throwing QE on them like he did. Also good to put down on yourself when she’s diving you so you can guarantee cc. EQ isn’t that reliable, it takes a while and you can miss it. I didn’t mean to use it for farming or to zone her off lol I saw an instance when he was about to get ganked, putting EW down zones the enemy and forces them to go around it, giving you time to run as an immobile mage. That’s how I mean zoning peel and vision.

@@cindermagus the vision part is explained on my first comment, same reason as to why you don't use it for zoning on this specific match up. Also EQ is a knock down (interrupt dashes) AND fear, thus a much stronger CC than the slower root of EW. If Irelia jumps on you, and you EW, Irelia has time to cast E, or even to get close enough to just ult you, you won't survive with that. On the other hand EQ can give you more chances as not only she can't attack you, but she will move in the opposite direction at the same time, and if she dashed to you, it will be interrupted too. The price? It is harder to land. This is theory, of course and while I play since season one, I'm not challenger.

A lot honestly, he used the root at least 4-6 times I think (maybe more cause I didn’t note every time) and the maw a similar number of times I think, maybe a little less. Less than the fear to be sure but they certainly got use.

Tbh, using WE on 5:50 without have any follow-up to the passive proc is a bad choice, is not worth going for WE harassing when your ability are down and you dont gonna have E if she respond to you, is not worth, you could go for WQ-WW to do some kite with Aery + AA and it would be more fine, also surviving for a little more time for having your E back again, it was really missplayed, like on the case of she still hitting her E, then you could answered with WW-WQ, but you dont have it on that moment, so one kill for irelia on 9:35 it happened again, you use WE to kill the canon, when a normal basic attack could still killing the canon, you died for it, and is a great example on it, you had full mana, you could go for WQ usage and E's abilities usage if you had WQ, but then you failed because you already wasted WQ, dont get yourself so greedy with the WE, one can undestand the damage amp it had but you cant just use WE without having a safe position for it (QE-EE combos or AA + QQ combos or having no mana), the play with bard + irelia is a great example of using other W abilities on a great way, like, you could go for WQ but that still gonna kill you, so, WW is the choice on that situation, and should be a reason for using other W abilities, but you fall on the mistake of using WE before that. on 24:20 you could see Kayn is leaving and you had a really good margin of time to say "wait, my kayn is leaving, i should leave too", undestanding your position and how your utility is what your team need is really crucial, yes, Kayn start a stupid play but...surprise, you follow that play so, and is not a champion is problem-, is about more of the part on not paying attention to Kayn's movement, this is fair to get you killed for not paying attention on your champion and your choices, this dragon fight could go better if you on the first place undestand that Kayn was just trying to get Jhin go to base or low hp, not for a chase that could go wrong because Bard exist, there's not reason to chase Jhin, and thats why Ryze ping "'?", because they was there for the dragon, not for a chase, and Kayn just retracted, you dont readed that very well, like, it was fair when you do a follow up to Kayn's play, but you were forcing it after he leave so is on you on that part. Thanks Pekin for uploading this Hwei gameplay, i personally love Hwei gameplay a lot, and i hope i can still seeing more on your channel, this is mostly the mistake i could see of you part and why you died 3 times, the gameplay on his majority of time was fine, but there's a HWEI to make it a bit more fine, dont get scared of using other W with Hwei, when you start to dominate that with this champion you gonna really love the difference and how a WW can make a difference if you react with it to the enemy's ability and harass, there's still a lot to learn with Hwei.

Don't know if that makes sense, but yea lmao As for the kayn, meh. I feel like he was the same throughout the whole game. Trying to stay positive, but actually losing his mind. yeah, tbh, watching league is super fun. Its awesome. But playing it is mostly miserable.

Not going scorch with Aery in this matchup isn't it. Even if you have no potential to kill, scorch can prevent roams or help with ganks whereas Gathering Storm in games that don't even get to 20 minutes let alone 30 is strictly worse. Playing for early game doesn't just affect your lane. Low elo GS is good because games just last longer, but Aery without scorch is just counterproductive. Might as well just take First Strike instead, because you're already giving up on lane phase with tear start and no scorch. Also, you can rarely even auto safely early game once you get behind for aery anyway, so comet is better for scaling and early game too.
