Thank you for your sharing your experience with the Hwawon oil pastels. I found your review incredibly helpful. I currently own the Mungyo 120 color oil pastel set and am considering purchasing the Hwawon set as well. Given your experience with both brands, would you recommend adding the Hwawon pastels to my collection? Your expert opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Thank you so much for the kind comment! Now, I only had the 72 color set by Mungyo (and some extra shades), not the full set of 120, so your experience might be a bit different, but I really loved the softer, muted shade that Hwawon added to my color palette! Their application is quite similar, Hwawon a bit drier and better for line drawings than Mungyo, but Mungyo work better when filling in large areas. If you love painting small portraits or botanicals, I think the Hwawon would be a great addition, but if you're more focused on large landscapes, then the Mungyo set might be perfect for those by itself. :) At least in my experience! I hope this helps 🥰

Oh, I'm glad that worked! And I hope you'll like them - I've been using combined with my Mungyo set to paint calendars this month and their color selection is just beautiful no matter what subject... :)

Where can I buy them? I live in Europe. Very beautiful shades and a box. Looks so pretty ❤

I think they do ship to several countries in Europe from their own website - hopefully it includes yours!
