Our journey in 4K continues with Hvar. Hvar is an amazing city in Croatia, on the same named island Hvar. It is also called the Saint Tropez of Croatia. Why? Watch the video and you will see.

Croatian women are beautiful, and I saw for myself. During my summer vacation in Croatia, I met a beautiful Croatian woman who is now my wife. I also recommended to a friend to go to Croatia to find eternal love for himself, he listened to me, now he also lives in a happy marriage. By the way, I am also from Belgium.
E da mi je jos jednom da osetim miris tog mora, lavande, ruzmarina. Da se okupam na Palmizani, Stipanskoj, Jerolimu. Da cujem ljude kako pricaju, onako simpaticno i melodicno. Da odslusam neki koncert na tvrdjavi. Celu mladost, svako leto sam tamo provodila. Sada imam dosta godina. Prosla sam skoro ceo svet, ali nigde, nigde tog mirisa i te lepote. E da mi je jos jednom....Pozdrav iz Beograda❤

Hvar is really beautiful 🤩
Hvar is a really nice town and it still keeps its medieval structure and buildings you can feel here a mediterranean and medieval feeling. When I will be old and retired I wanna live in such old medieval little town close to the sea.

I have been there nearly every summer from the early eigthties onwards because my father lives there and owns a beautiful house close to Pokonji Dol beach. This, for me, is the most beautiful place on earth and i quite travelled the world a bit. And although i visited stunning places like Hampi, Gokarna, Bodhgaya, Kho Phangan, Sevilla and others, Hvar is forever the number one for me. Its magic is just out of this world!
One of the world's best kept secrets, never heard of this place until I watching this clip now

Been to St Tropez this year. Lives on reputation and big yachts. Cannot compare with the beauty of Hvar, or many other small seaside towns in Croatia. ie Cavtat, Rovinj, Pucisca, Sibenik, Komiza, Korcula etc etc

I looking at my copy of Orson Welles in Hvar, or u Hvaru by Dusko Kovacic and Daniel Rafaelic, a large 150 page book stuffed with photos of Welles filming his The Deep. Marvelous book.

My granddad passed away on the 15th march 2018 and when we was younger, around 20 (back in 1938), he decided to escape nazi occupation of Croatia and decided to row a boat with himself, his brother and a friend from Hvar across the Adriatic. Took them nearly 4 days with a gallon of water and a loaf of bread.

Croatia wasn't occupied by Nazis in 1938, it was part of kingdom of Yugoslavia untill 1941.

I just came home from Croatia. Hvar is the place to be, split is really booring with very little to do. Not intresting at all. Hvar has everything you need and then some. Take a look at my channel, i made an entire movie about everything i did in croatia, 90% of the footage is from hvar.

@@antebaric3021 Greeks had been no longer in Dalmatia 300 years before the birth of Jesus, Venice lasted till 1797 and anti italian policies by austrians started only in 1866...you can make some calculation, now...
