Remember, you can't please everyone. In big office buildings, you'd be amazed at how many people complain about the temp on a daily basis. It'll be 72 in the office and half the people are "freezing" while the other half is "dying" of heat exhaustion.

28 years on AC field and still learning. Thank you! And for the new ones, don t worries, learn how to make money from those who complain all the time about temperature. The mixed feelings all the time about could air blow and temperature. Good luck guys.

One of the reasons of climbing temperatures and climate change is conventional HVAC industry. The next R&D stage of the HVAC climate-friendly transition is a step forward from Low GWP to Zero GWP refrigerant. Water is absolutely zero GWP refrigerant. Dew-point indirect regenerative water evaporative cooling and refrigeration can substitute a traditional AC with drastic reduction - 15X in energy consumption, 20X in carbon emission and 5-7X in capex and opex cost. Lower energy consumption of air cooling - more affordable overheat relief and tackling climate change. 5X greener AC was a dream of The Global Cooling Challenge 5 yrs ago. Now there is a 10X greener (water) evaporative prototype.

You are referring to a swamp cooler which is only good in very dry climates. Arizona or Texas etc, etc. Not in places with the humidity is up over 45%
@M-Cycle
6 күн бұрын
@@scottchapman9931 No, I am referring and clear articulate Dew-point indirect regenerative water evaporative cooling and refrigeration. Persian Badgir or Egyptian Malqaf (windcatchers) are in fact swamp, or dessert coolers using direct evaporative cooling with 5-10 deg. C temperature difference and added moisture to product air. M-Cycle is principally different with dew-point temperature (the hotter ambient - colder product) and no moisture added in product air and no air recirculation. M-Cycle works unassisted up to 18-20 gram per kg of air Absolute humidity, not RH% regardless raising ambient temperature.

I think there's a denotation error in this. Air Handler is the name of the unit(AHU) that regulates and circulates air as part of a HVAC system. In the video, the unit shown is a Rooftop Unit(RTU ) which is a simpler, commercial type of AHU. The part they call air handler is called fan/blower and it may be inline centrifugal or axial.
