    HVAC/R Service Technicians must be Resourceful out in the field. You demonstrated that fact very clearly in this video. We're all by ourselves out there most of the time, especially when pulling on-call duty. As a fellow tradesman in the same trade, I've learned to be that way as well. Great work, sir!

    I'm curious, if you need a new compressor, how do you get it on roof,with a crane?

  • @rookierefrigeration4357

    @rookierefrigeration4357

    Depends on the size of the compressor. If u can rope it up I will. If not. Crane.

    If it had been a higher ambient temp, would we have to have blocked the airflow from the open spaces where there was no fan motor?

    Yes I would just to ensure you don’t circulate condensed air, as air will take least path of resistance.

  • @rookierefrigeration4357

    We don't stock too many parts. They generally get "truck fucked". These restaurants are like 10% of what we generally do, but wouldn't be a bad idea though ..

    @@rookierefrigeration4357 spending a few minutes drying the motor that burnt up on you more than likely would have saved it. Would have prevented you from messing with the cooler condenser.
