2009 Charger 3.5 liter ..Ac squealed turned it off for a while it would engage but now nothing and I checked for Freon and the low side was reading in the red so it was very high pressure what do you think would pressure be high if the compressor isn't kicking in ?
my car is a 2004 bmw x5 and last week it stop cooling so the tec guys check and the diode that was in the coil had burn out so they took out the bad diode and joint the line together and now it work. should re-install the diode and what diode should i get or should i leave it like that? thanks man
No, replace the DIODE. The diode is a shunt for the inductive kick or spark self generating on the big compressor clutch coil. Not only that, the inductive kick can also damage you vehicle's computers. You have more that 200 volts of inductive kick, so do this FAST or you'll end up with a damaged ECM or any other expensive module. Good luck.
