Hi! 1. Familiarity with the song as well as some basic music theory knowledge din. Kapag kasi alam mo na rin yung mga usual chord progression, tapos scales, mas madaling ma-pick up even without reading from notes/chords. For the ear training, mostly practice lang din katapat. Especially for the mass songs, usually yung melody nila kasi galing lang sa mga chord triads din mismo plus some extensions. You'lll notice it when you keep playing. 2. Wala akong techniques talaga na specific, kasi massuggest ko lang din talaga is to keep practicing. At the same time, siguro try to study rin some music theory like scales and progression nga. Eventually naturally lalabas yun sa pag-play mo so long as you can recognize the pitch. May mga apps din pala to help you with ear training eh. Search mo. 👍 3. Ito kasi pinagsama sama na lahat nung sinabi ko previously. Usually nga kasi nasa chords na mismo yung melody. As in yung notes na pinplay mo for a certain chord, usually nandun na yung start nung melody or at least part ng melody. Kakapain mo na lang din siya. In the end, puro practice lang din talaga. If this is hard for you, pwedeng accompaniment lang iplay mo, as in chord triads sa right hand then base root so left hand (for ex. Kung C yung chord, you play a C octave with your left then C E G with your right). Kung gusto mo melody pero nahihirapan ka pa rin mangapa, I suggest you start with music sheets din muna. Then keep practicing. Eventually these will all come to you naturally. 👍👌
