@@midnightbounty7442 Not really. To be honest, Raiden has kind of fallen off meta. Most teams value off field electro damage and application more and Fischl just does more than her from off field. And if you play Raiden as on field carry, she clears slower than on field Lyney teams.

to find out who is stronger it depends on situation hu tao is better for single target and can't really be interrupted while lyney being a charged bow character has a problem similar to ganyu which is getting interrupted but since lyney needs monopyro for a lot of damage he can't go where there's enemies with pyro sheild meanwhile hu tao will usually do melt or vaporize reaction so the sheild can be broken they're different units and they have different play styles so choose whoever u like more

Praying Hoyo doesn’t take to long to drop some better pyro support characters. He’s in a similar position to Nilou when she first came out (though she had even tighter restrictions)

I'm F2P and I'm genuienly considering to skip all the next banners to pull for Lyneys cons and weapon. I already 100%ed all of the currently existing Fontaine for him, but lost my 50/50 to Diluc. So my pity is at 54 guaranteed rn. My first impulse was ofc to wait for the next 5 star (Neuvilette or Wriothesley) and just get them, try my luck at his rerun banner, but now...im starting to think more and more, that I should just skip everything for the next months and just go all in for this boy...idk anymore...

@@soleilpeik well that means you are just trying to annoy me nothing else since azhdaha is not a boss where you can actually see a dmg showcase..... 1.50% of the fight is just animation 😂 2.he has resistance from many elements that means he will receive unstable and inconsistent dmg 3.heavy knockback makes characters get staggered and unable to attack constantly 4.Azhdaha attacks are not dodgeable which makes him really annoying

As a Lyney main, did the whole fandom completely forget about Yoimiya? Like its all Hu Tao this Lyney that but Yoimiya is still one of the best dps in game?? Also I've never seen any character fandom being this salty over power creeping. Like get over it, Diluc mains took it normally, Klee mains took it normally, Yanfei was even power crept before she came out and they still played her. Its not like anyone's forcing you to play Lyney. Just because he is stronger doesnt mean Hu Tao isnt strong at all. :)

As a Yoimiya main, mah bb gurl just simply can't compete with other characters. I just got Hu Tao literally this banner and she's already a lot better than my Yoimiya even though I literally just threw my Yoimiya artifacts at her. Anyways, Yoimiya's multipliers simply can't compete with others. She's on the lower side. Still love her tho

Yoimiya is weak even with the signature. The problem is that she is a solo target and has the weakest ultimate in the game

Hu Tao is NOT f2p ftiendly, I got both and I can definitely say Lyney is bettr when you wanted him to be good instantly, Hu Tao is good but reuqires her C1 and Homa

HuTao needs setup. Lyney hits like a Train just solo.

If you're speed running, Lyney is actually better than Hu Tao due to how quickly he can nuke successively. He can also hit flying enemies so that's nice. But Hu Tao doesn't need the enemy to have a pyro aura applied and has hydro on her team so can fight a bigger range of enemies. Lyney damage is still all right with no pyro aura since that usually means he's vaping / melting instead but his passive just deals more damage than vape/melt. You really can't go wrong with either. Choose the one you like :D
