I have the same mower, but I bought it from Lowe’s. I have a different air filter on mine that goes over the carb on the left side. About to do an oil change and will update if I see any differences.

What weight is the oil?

Whomever designed this mower didn't leave much clearance between the frame deck and the bottom of the oil drain valve did they? A lot of people had problems with the drain valve backing out when they tried to pull and twist the yellow sleeve on the drain. I had mine back out on my first oil change, I hand tightened the valve and figured I would tighten the valve up on the next oil change so that's where the fun began I decided to drain my oil overnight. Went to my garage at 10 PM, got me a few rags, my plan was to drain oil, and next day I would tighten the drain, flush and refill with oil When I pulled the yellow sleeve the valve came loose again so I just unscrewed the entire valve and the oil came out quicker than I expected but I had a box of rags next to me, I dammed each side of the drain hole up and channeled most of the oil into my drain pan, after the rags became saturated Next day I go into the garage and grab my deep well sockets and thread tape. I put 2 wraps of thread tape on the drain threads, started the drain valve by hand and grabbed a 15/16" socket, put the socket over the drain valve and "What the heck?" There is no clearance for a socket to slide on nor is there any room to use a wrench and I wasn't going to cut one of my wrenches in half to see if a "Stubby" would work but I needed to get the mower done to mow I grabbed a 3" or 4" piece of 3/8" pipe, a collar, 90 degree elbow and pipe plug and plumbed a new oil drain haa. It works but I can't get my little plastic guard back on with the 90 degree elbow sticking out a little past the edge of the deck I am going to get a new type of "Quick Drain" for the mower, run to NAPA or order a 15/16" crows foot wrench, install the new oil drain and be done with that headache Hindsight: I may have been able to just hand tighten the original drain but when it comes to an engine and its lifeblood I don't like gambling and I am not sure what a new Briggs & Stratton, 22 HP motor costs but I do know that I didn't want to buy a new one
