I have the 380 and love it. Just put the mulching kit on it and removed the discharge cover. Much easier to get around objects. It is an awesome mowing machine. I am sorry that you are having issues with yours. Hopefully the dealer will get yours fixed.

Dude I'm so happy that you're liking yours too. So far I am as well even though I had an issue. They did replace the mower fully with a brand new model and I mowed my first hour with it today and I will be putting out a review soon after I get a few hours under my belt. This one seems to be working fine except the lights not working so I may check the connection and see what's going on but other than that it knows better than any mower I've been on. But you already know that LOL

I just recently bought the z350 and I absolutely love it. There is a little lever on each transmission that allows you to push it around. Just thought I’d let you know. My 350 is bad ass.

Nice dude! Glad to hear it. Yea its in front of the back wheel on the bottom of the transaxles. Basically neutral. The 380 is almost 900 pounds tho so to roll it on we had to park the trailer downhill and roll downwards. 2 men and still a challenge on flat ground. Thanks for watching!

Well that’s great news about the replacement. Sucks about the lights. I’m sure it’s a loose wire or connection. I may do a review on mine at some point. I feel like it’s the sports car of mowers. 😂. Best of luck to you.

My understanding is that the 345 and 375 have more analog controls for those (rightfully) freaked out by the digital gauges and panels.

I thought it was just the 345 but honestly the reason I don't know is because you can't find those models anywhere. When I went to an actual dealer to look all they had was 350 and the 380 and I've had other people say they can't find them as well. When I took this back to the shop I don't think they could even get it fixed because husqvarna's technicians really didn't even know how to explain to the mechanics to fix it. I don't think there's a protocol yet on how to fix the electronics if they do break. All I know is I got lucky because they swapped me out with a brand new one but if they didn't I would expect it would take forever to fix. They do talk about a delete kit for all models though but I never seen it.

I have a 380 and I love it no problems with it bought it in march of this year at a dealer got a good deal on it I runs super the only thing I see that’s weird it LOVES GAS!!!!!!! It’s super powerful and loves fuel

Dude that's awesome. I'm super glad that yours is working fantastic. You might want to hang on to it because I think dealers may be sending them back to be revamped or putting delete kits in them. And you're definitely right about that it is a gas hog for sure. But it does have good power.

I use a john deere x700 series tractor for my mowing business. I used to work at a small engine dealer. Husqvarna after covid has definitely had some issues. John deere definitely had a little better warranty. It sure does look cool though.

Yea my thoughts exactly. It just looks do good but I'm regretting as I think there are better options. I've always worked on small engines but this is a different ball game and the deal takes forever no matter what dealer. Husqvarnas customer service sucks. This mower is the supermodel of the mowing world. Beautiful but not functional.

Well now with 13.5 hours on mine. I turn the key and all I hear is one click but the starter doesn’t engage. The battery is fully charged. I noticed since i bought it that there was a delay when turning the switch on. Well not it wont start. Calling the dealer in the morning to get them out here to see if they can fix it. Not a happy camper at the moment.

man im so sorry to hear that. i do know exactly what your talking about. with the delay. almost like a weak start. the new one i have is running great so far but if i have another major issue i think ill be done with this one however for now its running great. check out the other video I have on it. you should see it linked on the end screen or just go to my page. It's definitely something you need to think about and unless I'm missing something which is possible because I've only had it under a month I don't think there is. I had parked it in the middle of the yard to run inside and I came back out and it wouldn't crank and there's no other way other than the electric start that I know of to crank it. You can undo the transmission to let it roll freely but if you're on a hill it's just going to go down and otherwise you'll probably have to have a winch to get it up on a trailer because it's almost 900 lb for the 380 and probably 650 for the 350. I don't want to completely discourage you but I have a review coming out on that in a month or less I'm just working on editing the video so just wait for that video and I'll try to get some good information out.

Talk to them again. Depending on what it is and why it broke they most certainly will.

Hope you get it fixed! Ive been considering the 350 myself.. can you answer me one other question? Are the control levers adjustable? I see a release lever and knob, but can't tell if that's for adjustment or removal? Id they do adjust, do they adjust side to side like it looks like they would? (I don't have any one local with these, I would have to order one so I can see them in person).

Well thank you I hope I get it fixed too because it's just kind of crappy I got to mow with it twice and now it's going to be gone for a month. I wish I could answer your question with better knowledge but I honestly didn't get more than 30 minutes to really play around with it before I had to send it back off. Which was also a process because it weighs about 850 lb so getting it on a trailer isn't super easy without a winch. But I know it is adjustable. When I talked to the guy at the dealer he said he prefers the handles on all the excites because there's so much more well-built than a regular zero turn and I did see adjustments in two or three different ways.

@@BULLETENVY Hopefully it's just something simple.. I am leaning more towards the 350, partly because of the weight, it's still heavy, not as heavy. And yes, that's what I like about the Husqvarna.. I've used the brand for about 15 years now and they are good machines and seem to come with a lot of higher end features with lower pricing..

I think it will just need a new control board honestly. I think it's just shorted out but they're talking about plugging Bluetooth software in and diagnosing and all this stuff and I just want the mower the mow with. I definitely thought about the 350 but the only thing that made me get the 380 instead is because it had serviceable axles and I like to be able to service my stuff. I think it's ridiculous they put Transmissions that cannot be serviced in them so when they break you just have to replace them and it's probably like 1500 bucks. But when you get yours you should definitely let me know and maybe post a video of the 350. Right now I think mine is the only review on KZread or close to it.

They are adjustable. Just unlock, turn the knob whichever way they need to go and lock. Very easy.

@@BULLETENVY Hey, here's an unrelated question for you... I've always had tractor style mowers, so have never had to worry about it, but with a zero turn (I did order the 350 btw), let's say you're mowing on a slope (which I definitely have) and the mower dies for whatever reason (like running out of gas let's say), how do you steer? And if you start rolling down the hill, is it safe to throw handles out to the park position with out doing damage? I started thinking about that when I ordered my mower and realized it will come without gas in and I will have roll it at least a short distance from the delivery truck, I just don't know how I'd steer it... Maybe this is a dumb question, but I'm completely new to zero turns, and that's just one question I can't seem to find an answer to...

Any updates on your mower yet? I just got my Xficte350 a few days ago... At first, it would not run. I could get it to turn over, but it would not run for more than a few seconds. It displayed a low battery icon, so even though it was turning over, I went ahead and checked the battery, which read 12v, so I'm thinking, 12v battery, reads 12v, no problem right? Apparently not, through further research, the battery needs to be at 12.6v. I ended getting it to run enough that it charged the battery enough to stay running. Next problem I had was the blades wouldn't engage. Turns out, the cable that runs down from the right arm was unplugged 😅. I did discover through trial and error (because I didn't see this anywhere in the manual, but I guess I could have just missed it), if you pull the arms in with the parking brake engage, it kills the engine.

Dude you have no idea. Where can I even begin. So I got the new one and for some reason even though I've only driven it an hour it has 15 hours on the meter but I mowed for about 10 minutes with it and then parked it and went inside and came back outside and it would not crank. I know I tried to crank it 40 times and it just would not. I'm pretty good with engine and equipment in general but I just could not figure out why it wouldn't start. Also when I got this one the headlight was unplugged so I think they just put this thing together willy-nilly and slapped a huge price tag on it. There are designed walls that I've seen and definite workmanship issues. After waiting about 30 minutes my dad gets on it and it cranks right up no problem so I went and parked it and haven't touched it since and called the dealership and just said I want to know the one it's not an excite. I really hate to say this but I feel like they put it out before it was ready to be put out. Don't even get me started about issues with the back tires not gripping and spinning. I'm going to do another review within the next week hopefully before I return it. Good luck with yours though and thanks for staying tuned in.

I know with mine, I have to make sure the throttle is half, parking brake is engaged and the arms are both in neutral and all the way out, and it seems like I even have to push my foot on the brake to make sure it's all the way forward. Maybe there is some sensor/switch that isn't adjusted right so your machine thinks it's not meeting all the parameters to start? Even though it's hard to find, it's got to be something simple..? Idk...

I mean it should be simple but for some reason it's just not. I followed all the parameters just as I did when I first drove it down there and it wouldn't work. The only difference is when it was parked it was on maybe a 5% incline of a hill. I'm not positive but I think these well shut off completely if they go over like 15° slope sideways. But honestly that feature doesn't even matter because you can't even drive the thing on less than like 6% slope because it just spins and crashes every time. You absolutely cannot use this mower unless it is 100% flat. I've been driving mowers for 25 years and I've crashed this thing three times already. As far as the not starting my best guess is that it was because it was on a slope but also with that the weird thing is it would run for like 10 seconds and then just die. And I don't mean spider I mean run strong and then as soon as I would take my finger off the start button it would just die. This is the most temperamental mower I've ever owned and I'm a little pissed about it because this is the second brand new one I've had and still having massive issues. When it works it cuts amazing but honestly I don't even think I can use it on my yard. My Husqvarna garden tractor would run circles around this thing. I had to finish mowing my yard with it because there were places the zero turn just could not go.

@@BULLETENVY That's a real bummer! For me, the reason I went with a zero turn to begin with is because my property is on a hill, and 80% of it is between 10% to 15% slope and riding tractor style mowers struggle going up the hill. I definitely noticed some loss of traction in some places, but overall did way better than my riding mowers, and took less than half the time, and that's even considering the learning curve since I've never operated a zero turn before. I kinda feel like it needs more weight on the back end.. Btw, I hope I didn't come across wrong when I said it has to be something simple.. I just meant there really isn't a whole lot there when comes to these machines, there's only so many things it could be, it's just what is that thing? And it's definitely frustrating when you have a brand new piece of equipment, especially one with the price tag of these machines, and it doesn't work right! I hope you can get it figured out. Out of curiosity, does it show any kind of fault symbols in the display?

Is the Z380 only available in certain areas? If you go to Husqvarna's site, there literally is no 380. Only up to 375.

Honestly I'm not sure on that one. As far as I knew the 380 was the more common one. The dealership I went to had like five or six inside. And I think like four 350s but I've yet to see a 345 or 375. As far as ordering it though all I've seen is the 350. I do think you have to go to an actual dealer to purchase higher than that.

If there wasn't a dealer 45 minutes from me then I could see purchasing one a super big hassle. I looked everywhere for like 2 weeks and had to ask around word of mouth and someone told me where a dealer was so that's where I went but before that I couldn't find one anywhere.

Seems like a lot of little issues for a new mower(could have gotten a toro titan)

Unfortunately yes so far. But I've always liked husqvarnas style and build quality so it made sense. Not to mention it's the nices mower I've ever seen so I decided to splurge. I'm just hopeful it will be a timely fix and stay fixed. I'll be updating every step of the way tho for you guys.

They might as well say those blades will be sharp for life since it won't start

Already did. Left it unhooked for a bit and didn't do a thing. I'm thinking the panel was fried maybe from possible water getting in it somehow? It's been covered the hole time so I dunno. I have the new one now. They switched it out and the new one has already had problems starting and staying running. New video to come.

Well it only lasted 50 something hrs. Only had it 1 year. The place i bought it said their rep said there was nothing wrong with the metal in the deck. But i am going too follow up because i call bs with them saying nothing is wrong

@scottbuffdaddy maybe try talking to a different person at the dealer. I know for a fact it does have a 3-year warranty but I just don't know what the stipulations are on it. My process was pretty simple but the people I worked with were very nice so maybe try to get a different person.
