I loved my 540ixp. The saw fell off my rock exotica thing and fell 20 ft. It’s been broken ever since just sitting there in my garage

That sucks!!! The case is only $60 or so. I think it’s a pretty easy fix

A 12" bar is a better fit. A shorter bar equals more chain speed, 👍💪🪓🌲🇮🇪

Larger sprocket equals more chain speed. The length doesn't matter

@poplarmechanic is right. Bar length doesn’t matter for chain speed. It’s the amount of chain in the cut that counts. And chain speed is determined by the motor and sprocket pin count
